At the exhibition site, the puppet troupe members Wang Xuqing, Zhou Haoyue, Wu Qiqi, Zheng Wenwen, Ma Yunlu and Ma Yunbao also brought a unique puppet theater performance to everyone, and the silent photos and dynamic performances complemented each other.
Artist Ma Liang told reporters that this exhibition is the exhibition that he has been in the exhibition for the longest time and the most attentive so far. The reason why the exhibition is named "Private Myth", he said: "This is actually from the American cultural scholar Joseph Campbell, he said a sentence when describing the famous psychoanalyst Freud, 'Dreams are private myths, and myths are public dreams', when I heard this sentence, I was particularly moved, life is actually a dream, and creation is not a fool's dream? All creators in the lonely quest have only themselves believing that what they are doing makes sense. ”
On the day of the exhibition, Chengdu Contemporary Image Museum also launched the "Image Collection - 2021 Image Autumn Series Activities". Experts, scholars, artists, critics, and media friends from all over the world gather here to take the image as the starting point and connect the light of thinking. For example, Rong Rong and Zhong Weixing, the founders of both photography art institutions and photographers, discussed how the opportunities and choices of video art institutions complement the development of China's video art ecological environment in the context of the current era.
