Diecai District held a press conference for the publication of "Jiangshan Huijing"

Guilin, Guangxi News Network, 1 November (Reporter Fan Chengfu Correspondent Huang Shuaijun) On the afternoon of 27 October, the Diecai District of Guilin City held a press conference on the publication of the urban history and culture series "Jiangshan Huijing" at the Fanghua Road Rong Media Center. Chen Yongdong, secretary and chairman of the CPPCC leading group of Diecai District and director of the Compilation Committee of the Historical and Cultural Series of Diecai District, Gong Hongbo, deputy secretary and vice chairman of the CPPCC Party Group of Diecai District and deputy director of the Compilation Committee of the Historical and Cultural Series of Diecai District, and Yang Qingping, former deputy secretary and vice chairman of the CPPCC Party Group of Diecai District, executive deputy director of the Compilation Committee of the Historical and Cultural Series of Diecai District, and editor-in-chief of "Beautiful And Stacked Colors," "Magical YaoShan," and "Jiangshan Huijing," attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Chen Yongdong introduced the role and significance of "Beautiful Diecai", "Magical Yao Mountain" and "Jiangshan Huijing" to the socio-economic and cultural development of the urban area from the two aspects of the original intention of compiling the historical and cultural series of Diecai District and the impact on the socio-economic and cultural development of Diecai District. Yang Qingping introduced the writing and publication of "Jiangshan Huijing" in the third volume of the Diecai District History and Culture Series, "Jiangshan Huijing", as well as the compilation ideas of the fourth volume of "The Past of the North Gate" (provisional name) and the fifth volume "Military Defense in the North of the City" (provisional name).

It is reported that since the new CPPCC of Diecai District changed in 2016, in order to inherit the historical and cultural heritage of the urban area, carry forward the spirit of patriotism, and promote the orderly development of cultural and historical work, under the strong advocacy of Chairman Li Manhua, it has decided to write a series of books on the history and culture of Diecai District every year. Launched in October 2016 and completed and published in July 2017, the first comprehensive volume of the series of books, "Beautiful And Stacked Colors", includes 60 articles, more than 150,000 words, and 137 pictures, vividly reflecting the thick historical culture and exquisite cultural landscape of the urban area through six chapters: historical waves, celebrities, cultural relics and monuments, customs and customs, natural features, and new appearances.

The second volume of the series, "Magical Yaoshan", has been compiled since November 2018 and published in January 2020, including 49 articles, more than 130,000 words, and 60 pictures, through six chapters of natural wonderland, culture that has experienced wind and rain, beautiful ancient villages, ancestors who have returned to seclusion, throats of water and land transportation, and the taste of passing on the torch, profoundly and in detail describing Yaoshan as an ancient outing and a pleasant area, a free trade area, and a tourist feng shui place, which contains rich literary and historical content and magical celestial realm.

The third volume of the series of books, "Jiangshan Huijing", which was launched in September 2019 and completed and published in May 2021, includes 49 articles, 250,000 words, and 106 pictures, through six chapters of mountain caves, rivers and lakes, pavilions, pavilions, moya stone carvings, poetry and literature, and Diecai Bridge Scenery, which show the literary and historical connotations of the magnificent Jiangshan in Diecai District in a more profound, informative and delicate manner, and comprehensively describe the rich literary and historical content and profound cultural connotations contained in Diecai District as a tourist feng shui place. Together with the fourth volume of the city volume "Prosperity North Gate" and the fifth volume of the city defense volume "North Military Defense" to be written in the next step, together constitute the rich content and comprehensive picture of the history and culture of Diecai District.
