First, scatter grass and wood ash

Cow manure has low organic matter content, slow fertilizer efficiency, although the nutrients of chicken manure are the highest, but insufficient chicken manure contains many insect eggs, which is easy to attract underground pests. Although pig manure is a well-balanced manure, its efficacy is far inferior to that of sheep manure.
Fermented sheep manure is a high-grade organic fertilizer, and there is an old saying in the countryside called "sheep manure is home, and it is not blind in two seasons." The organic matter content of sheep manure is as high as 26.5%, nitrogen content 0.46%, potassium content 0.55%, phosphorus content 0.25%, and its nutrient content is far higher than pig manure. Cake fertilizer is a kind of organic fertilizer with very high nutritional value, cake fertilizer is the residue after pressing oilseed seeds, rich in organic acids, proteins, inorganic salts, etc., and its organic matter content is as high as 75% to 80%, and the leeks grow quickly after applying cake fertilizer. Secondly, use fermented cake fertilizer to make fertilizer for leeks, leeks are not easy to breed maggots.
When applying cake fertilizer to leeks, it can be applied in a ditch or a hole between rows, and cover the soil after application, generally about 100 kg per mu. Cake fertilizer should be fermented and decomposed before being applied to the soil, otherwise it will continue to ferment into the soil and generate heat, which will easily burn the roots of leeks.
