On the morning of October 29, the second member congress of Guigang Grassroots Legal Service Workers Association was successfully held in Guigang Municipal Bureau of Justice. More than 50 people attended the meeting, including Hong Xiang, member of the party group and deputy director of the Guigang Municipal Bureau of Justice, Liang Tianhua, a second-level researcher of the Municipal Bureau of Justice, and business leaders, member representatives and relevant staff of the judicial bureaus of various counties (cities and districts). The meeting was presided over by Huang Weiji, chief of the Lawyers' Work Section of the Municipal Bureau of Justice.
The meeting comprehensively summarized the work of the first council of the association, and fully affirmed the positive contributions made by the first council of the association and the leadership team of the association to unite and lead the majority of grass-roots legal service workers to actively integrate and serve the work of the party committees and government centers at all levels, give full play to professional advantages to serve grass-roots economic and social development, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the parties and the correct implementation of the law, and maintain social harmony and stability.
The meeting deliberated and adopted the work report of the first session of the board of directors, the financial work report and the "Election Measures for the Council Members of the Second Guigang Grassroots Legal Service Workers Association (Draft)", and elected the directors, presidents and vice presidents of the second council of the association. Lu Shi was elected as the president of the second Guigang Grassroots Legal Service Workers Association Council, Zhang Hua, Chen Zhisong, Chen Zhihong, and Qiu Yizhao were elected as vice presidents; Zhang Hua concurrently served as secretary general.
Hong Xiang pointed out that grassroots legal service workers are socialist legal workers with Chinese characteristics, and are an important force in serving the development of grassroots economic development, safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of the people, maintaining social harmony and stability, and promoting the construction of a public legal service system. At present, Our country is in the historical convergence period of realizing the "two hundred years" goal, and a new journey of comprehensively building a modern socialist country has also begun, and the city's grass-roots legal service workers should fully understand the new requirements of economic and social development for grass-roots legal service work at present and in the coming period, deeply study and implement the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Party and the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Plenary Sessions of the 19th Central Committee, and study the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech at the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. Guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, seize the opportunity, forge ahead, and strive to create a new situation in grassroots legal service work with a more exalted mental state and fighting attitude.
Hong Xiang stressed: The Municipal Association of Grassroots Legal Service Workers and the vast number of grassroots legal service workers should raise their political standing, regard supporting the leadership of the Communist Party of China and supporting the socialist rule of law as the basic requirement for practicing their profession, and uphold the party's leadership over grassroots legal service work; they should persist in political guidance, further strengthen party building in the grassroots legal service industry, and continue to expand the full coverage of party organizations and party work; they should give full play to their functional advantages, take the initiative to integrate into the work of local party committees and government centers, and serve grassroots economic and social development It is necessary to adhere to the people-centered approach, actively participate in the construction of the public legal service system, and base on its own advantages to serve rural revitalization.
Hong Xiang demanded that the new board of directors should earnestly give play to the role of the "head goose", improve the ability and level of performing duties, enhance the deliberative ability and deliberative efficiency of the council, timely study and solve relevant problems in the development of the industry and daily management, take the needs of the majority of members as the work orientation, serve the members of the association, and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the members; it is necessary to shoulder the heavy trust of the vast number of grass-roots legal service workers in the city, carry forward the spirit of dedication, unite and lead the majority of members to carry forward the past and forge ahead, and provide high-quality and efficient legal services for economic and social development. Promote the grass-roots legal service industry in Guigang to a new level, and make due contributions to accelerating the construction of the core port city and strategic emerging industrial city of the Pearl River-Xijiang Economic Belt.
