On October 26, the "Spring Breeze Proud Horseshoe Disease - Guangdong Zhuangyuan Cultural Exhibition" was launched at the Lu Xun Memorial Hall in Guangzhou and will be exhibited until February 28, 2022. Through the parts of "The Birth of a Champion", "Those Things of Guangdong Champion", and "When the Culture of Guangdong Is Carried Out", the exhibition systematically excavates and sorts out the cultural resources of Guangdong Imperial Examination, and shows the life trajectory and deeds of Guangdong Champion.

The imperial examination system is the basic system of selecting officials by examination in ancient China, which began in the Sui and Tang dynasties, was completed in the Song Dynasty, flourished in the Ming and Qing dynasties, and lasted for more than 1300 years in Chinese history, which is the longest and most influential system in Chinese history, and has a great influence on the construction of traditional Chinese society.

Liu Dan, curator of this exhibition, introduced that in the more than 1300 years from the Sui and Tang Kaike to the last imperial examination of the Jiachen Branch in the 30th year of the Qing Dynasty (1904), Guangdong has produced a total of 9 Wen Zhuangyuan (Mo Xuanqing, Jian Wenhui, Zhang Zhensun, Lun Wenxu, Lin Daqin, Huang Shijun, Zhuang Yougong, Lin Zhaotang, Liang Yishu) and 5 Wu Zhuangyuan (Zhu Kezhen, Lin Deyong, Li Weiguang, Huang Renyong, Yao Daning).
With their perseverance and hard work, they were able to be named in the golden list and bring supreme glory to their families and regions; they took the Confucian benevolence and morality as their spiritual belief, exerted their ambitions in different fields, and carved their own figures in history.
Through text, picture materials and related objects, the exhibition introduces the life deeds of Guangdong Champions in detail, allowing the audience to have a glimpse of the "Weishui History" of Guangdong Champions.
