The first Cross-Strait Image Culture Week (hereinafter referred to as "Image Culture Week") will be held in Zhejiang from October 20 to November 4, and the opening ceremony will be held at the Zhejiang Art Museum, a national key art museum, on October 22, when 250 photographers, young photographers and photography enthusiasts from both sides of the strait will participate in relevant activities. The Video Culture Week includes the main event in Hangzhou and the special event in Lanxi Lang Jingshan. The main event in Hangzhou includes the exhibition of ink and shadow duan Yueheng's original photography works, the exhibition of photographic works of "Light and Shadow Moments and Images of the Two Sides of the Strait", the special photography exhibition of "Epidemic" Road Peers, the exhibition of some of the winning works of the First Cross-Strait College Students Short Video Competition, the exhibition of winning works of the Second Cross-Strait College Students Photography Competition, the Exhibition of Zhejiang-Taiwan Exchange and Cooperation Photo Exhibition, the Book Exhibition of China Photography Book List, and the Taiwan Photography Book Exhibition.
The exhibition of original photography by Moying Duan Yueheng is the main project of this video culture week. Mr. Duan Yueheng, a famous photographer, was invited to hold an exhibition of original photographic works with the theme of "Ink Shadow", presenting 42 new masterpieces, showing not only the photography skills, but also the original intention and mission of photography art creation, expressing the aesthetic value created by Chinese culture in the image, and encouraging photographers on both sides of the strait to attach importance to the continuation and promotion of national cultural genes. During the video culture period, an academic seminar on Duan Yueheng's original photography and a special lecture on Duan Yueheng's photography will also be held.
The exhibition of photographic works of "Moments of Light and Shadow, Reflection on both Sides of the Straits" will focus on 279 masterpieces by 36 photographers on both sides of the strait, presenting the concept and level of photography from different fields and artistic levels. The famous Taiwanese photographer Lin Tianfu's "Intertidal Zone" uses vivid colors and subjective styles of "refining stones" images to present the rocky scenery of Taiwan's north coast with various forms and artistry, which is unique. The video works of photographers on both sides of the strait, such as Jiang Zairong, Gu Yong, Sheng Changli, Shao Dalang, Zhang Youguo, Wu Li, Wang Xinmei, Chen Que, Xu Xiaofeng, Du Derong, Li Wenhui, and Liu Xianren, have their own characteristics and all show the author's profound photography creation skills.
The "Epidemic" Road Peer Special Photography Exhibition is divided into three chapters: "Returning to the Epidemic Road", "Gathering and Fighting the Epidemic with One Heart", and "Xingxing epidemic road progress", with a total of 70 paintings. At the beginning of the new year of 2020, a sudden new crown pneumonia epidemic disrupted people's normal production and life, on the road to fighting the epidemic, compatriots on both sides of the strait were not afraid and moved forward hand in hand, and a series of real and touching pictures were recorded by photographers on both sides of the strait, bringing everyone's thoughts back to that unforgettable time and space, which lasted for a long time. The chapter on "Returning to the Epidemic Road" reflects the pioneering act of Zhejiang Province in thinking of what The Taiwan compatriots think and are anxious about the needs of the Taiwan compatriots, and strives to serve the 63 Taiwan businessmen and Taiwan compatriots who have returned to Zhejiang in a concentrated manner. Zhou Tingying, a young Taiwan compatriot involved, recorded a warm picture with a lens. The chapter of "Gathering and Fighting the Epidemic with One Heart" captures the deeds and stories of many Taiwan compatriots and Taiwan enterprises in the province actively participating in the common "fight against the epidemic", with pictures and texts, showing the social responsibility of Taiwan enterprises and the love of Taiwan compatriots. The chapter of "Xingxing, Epidemic Road And Progress" freezes the wonderful moments of Taiwanese and Taiwan enterprises resuming work and production in Zhejiang Province, reflecting that Zhejiang Province has coordinated epidemic prevention and control and economic and social development, actively implemented the policy of favoring enterprises, and supported Taiwan enterprises to resume work and production. The spirit of fighting the epidemic will surely inspire the people on both sides of the strait to embrace the new era with passion for a long time! Young people are indigenous people in the Internet age and an important group of attention of the Video Culture Week. To this end, Zhejiang University of Communication and Communication held the first cross-strait college students' short video contest and the second cross-strait college students' photo contest, some of which were award-winning works for exhibition in the cultural week, which painted a youthful color for cross-strait image cultural exchanges. With the theme of "Our Wave", the first cross-strait college students' short video contest encouraged young students from both sides of the strait to turn their lenses to the living world of the "post-95s", comprehensively present the dimension in the eyes of the new generation on both sides of the strait, and build a platform for cultural and ideological exchanges among young college students on both sides of the strait. The competition received a total of 203 groups of entries from 28 colleges and universities on both sides of the strait, and 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes, 6 excellent awards and 8 special awards were awarded. The second cross-strait college students photo contest takes "home" as the theme, encouraging college students on both sides of the strait to use photographic language to think about their spatial relationship and emotional relationship with home, and record the imprint of life and warm moments with the lens. A total of 1158 groups of entries from 104 colleges and universities on both sides of the strait were received, and 30 groups of award-winning works were selected, including 5 first prizes, 10 second prizes and 15 third prizes. The Zhejiang-Taiwan Exchange and Cooperation Photo Exhibition focuses on a number of 101 photographic pictures that embody the characteristics and achievements of exchanges and cooperation with Taiwan in various places in recent years, fully demonstrating the fruitful results of exchanges and cooperation between Zhejiang and Taiwan in recent years. This is a collection of photography books, a review of photographic books in recent years. The Taiwan Photography Book Exhibition, which was held at the same time, is the first time to exhibit excellent photographic books by well-known photographers in Taiwan on the mainland, with a total of 80 volumes. Lang Jingshan, a famous photographer on both sides of the strait, whose ancestral home is Lanxi, Zhejiang, has led an era and created a new trend of Chinese-style pictorial photography.
