August 1 is the founding day of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, which commemorates the Nanchang Uprising, an armed uprising launched by the Chinese Communists on August 1, 1927, to resist the massacre policy of the Kuomintang reactionaries. The Nanchang Uprising was arguably an important turning point in Chinese history, and it saved the Chinese revolution.
Speaking of outstanding figures in the Nanchang Uprising, Wen has Li Yihao, Xu Teli, Fan Changjiang, Wu Youzhou Premier, He Laozong, and Marshal Liu Bocheng, which can be described as a wealth of talents. In the Nanchang Uprising, there was such a special army, and on the battlefield they did not let their eyebrows be shaved, and dedicated their youth and blood to the revolutionary cause.

They were the first female soldiers of the people's army in the history of the Chinese revolution, with a total of more than thirty people, most of whom were cadets from the Wuhan Central Military and Political School. In this team, there is a girl, she saved Chen Geng on the battlefield, and Premier Zhou played a couple, known as one of the "four king kongs" among female soldiers, she is Yang Qinglan.

In 1910, Yang Qinglan was born in a small village in Xinyang, Henan. At that time, it was the last year of the Qing Dynasty, the Guangxu Emperor and Empress Dowager Cixi died one after another, and the burden of the Qing Dynasty was on the shoulders of Puyi, who was still a child.
With the exploitation and oppression of foreign capitalism on the outside and the decadent feudal system on the inside, it is precisely in such a difficult environment that the theory of the Chinese revolution took root and was put into practice. As Yang Qinglan grew up, she was influenced by communist theory and lit a revolutionary fire in her heart.
After Yang Qinglan learned of the recruitment of female soldiers at the Wuhan Central Military and Political School, she signed up without hesitation and successfully became the first batch of female soldiers recruited by the school with outstanding results.
In school, Yang Qinglan has never stopped moving forward, and while strengthening theoretical learning, she also insists on physical training.
When the "April 12" coup d'état and the "July 15" incident broke out one after another in 1927, the Nanchang Uprising immediately broke out in order to resist the persecution of the Communists by the Kuomintang reactionaries. As a military school co-founded by the Kuomintang and the Communists, the students of the Wuhan Central Military and Political School also began to feel nervous.
After accepting the study of the communist theoretical system, Yang Qinglan firmly believed that only communism could save China. So when she learned that the Nanchang Uprising had broken out, she and more than thirty classmates in her class braved their lives and went down the Yangtze River from Wuchang to catch up with the Nanchang Uprising troops.
When they caught up with the Chinese army, they were assigned to the Third Division of the Twentieth Army of He Long's Army.
At first, as a woman, Yang Qinglan and her fellow female soldiers were arranged to engage in political propaganda work, but as the war unfolded, 17-year-old Yang Qinglan took the initiative to ask his superiors for help, indicating that he had learned the knowledge of first aid and treatment, hoping to go to the front line and participate in the rescue of the wounded.

The superior leader saw Yang Qinglan's resolute eyes and believed that this girl had a revolutionary spirit of not being afraid of sacrifice and hardship, so he agreed to her request. On the battlefield, Yang Qinglan did not live up to the expectations of the leaders, shuttled through the rain of bullets and bullets, and did his best to rescue every wounded person.
Although Yang Qinglan has the perseverance of not losing to male soldiers, as a girl, even if her body is strong, her strength is not as good as that of men.
She was not without fear in the face of the enemy's guns, but she was full of courage when she thought that if she didn't run fast enough, a soldier might die on the battlefield because she couldn't be treated.
On August 24, 1927, due to the lack of ammunition, the follow-up troops could not arrive in time, and the rebel army suffered heavy casualties. When Yang Qinglan rushed to the battlefield with the large troops, he took the lead in carrying out rescue work. The enemy had not yet completely left the battlefield, bullets were running through her head, and she did not care about her life, carrying the wounded on her back and retreating to the rear.
When Yang Qinglan was preparing to evacuate with the troops, she suddenly found that there was still a person hidden in the grass, and although the person lying down was not wearing a military uniform, she still had the courage to go over to check the situation, afraid of missing a wounded person. Sure enough, the person lying down was Chen Geng, commander of the first battalion of the Sixth Regiment of the Third Division of the Twentieth Army.
At this time, Chen Geng was shot twice in the left leg, the kneecap and ankle bone were broken, the blood flowed non-stop, and he was unconscious. Yang Qinglan saw the situation in front of him and knew that if he did not receive treatment, Chen Geng's life would be in danger, so he immediately picked him up on his back and ran in the direction of the troops.
As a man, Chen Geng weighed all his weight on Yang Qinglan, but Yang Qinglan still sent him to the medical center step by step. The doctor at the medical center said that if it were not for Yang Qinglan, Chen Geng would have died bleeding in a coma.
Chen Geng was very touched when he learned that he had been saved by a teenage girl and hoped to personally thank Yang Qinglan. Later, because of the mission, Yang Qinglan and Chen Geng met in Shanghai, and Chen Geng said to her: "Thank you for saving my life, it is not easy for a girl!" How remarkable! ”

Because on the battlefield, Yang Qinglan was not in danger, not only did he complete the tasks assigned by the organization excellently, but also risked to save Chen Geng, commander of the first battalion of the Sixth Regiment of the Third Division of the Twentieth Army, and made great contributions. And because of her outstanding performance, she was affectionately called "Female King Kong" by her comrades.
The higher-level government valued Yang Qinglan's meticulous mind and brave and fearless spirit, and sent her to Shanghai to cooperate with Premier Zhou and Deng Yingchao to complete the tasks assigned by the organization under the eyes of the enemy. During this period, she cooperated with Premier Zhou and Deng Yingchao tacitly, did not attract the attention of the enemy, and successfully obtained a lot of intelligence.
In an outing mission, Yang Qinglan needed to pretend to be a couple with Premier Zhou, but she grew tall, and if she put on high heels again, she would look abrupt around Premier Zhou, or Deng Yingchao found a pair of flat shoes to solve this problem.
During the mission in Shanghai, Yang Qinglan gave full play to the spirit of not being in danger cultivated on the battlefield, combined with her carefulness and boldness, and completed every task very well in the central special branch. It was also during his time in Shanghai that Yang Qinglan met Premier Zhou's secretary, Huang Jiuran.
Huang Jiuran admired Yang Qinglan's spirit of dedicating her life to the revolution and was very fond of her. Under the auspices of Premier Zhou, the two held a simple and low-key wedding in a tavern in Shanghai. Since then, Yang Qinglan has also been struggling on the front line of the revolution, following in the footsteps of her husband and bowing to the cause of Chinese communism.
In 1992, Yang Qinglan died at the age of 82. As an outstanding figure in the history of the Chinese revolution, she used her youth to write the legendary story of a generation of female soldiers. Whether it was risking his life on the battlefield to save Chen Geng or performing a mission in Shanghai, Yang Qinglan's heroic and fearless revolutionary spirit is worthy of people's admiration.
It is precisely because of the many ancestors like Yang Qinglan who possessed the fearless revolutionary spirit, who carried the original intention and mission of the Chinese Communists and forged the great revolutionary spirit of the Communist Party of China, that Chinese communism can achieve final victory.
