Yu Dazhong

The late Tang Dynasty poet wei zhuang (836-910), also spelled Duanji, was a native of Duling County, Jingzhao County (present-day Xi'an, Shaanxi). The fourth grandson of the Tang Dynasty poet Wei Yingwu.

In the first year of Qianning (894), Wei Zhuang jinshi and the first, served as the school secretary. In the fourth year of Qianning (897), he was promoted to the left to fill the gap. In the first year of Tianfu (901), he entered Shu as the secretary of Wang Jian's palm and has been serving Shu for life ever since. In the fourth year of Tianyou (907), Zhu Quanzhong destroyed Tang Jianliang, and Wei Zhuang persuaded Wang Jian to claim the title of emperor, appoint Zuo San as a regular attendant, sentence Zhongshu Men to do things, and set the system of founding the country. He was promoted to Prime Minister the following year. Wu Cheng died in the third year (910), Yuwen Jing.

Wei Zhuang's poems are round and tidy, the tone is bright, the absolute sentences are deep and elegant, and the content is rich; his words are good at using white drawing techniques, and the style of words is clear. He is the representative writer of the "Huajian Sect" with Wen Tingjun and is called "Wen Wei". He wrote the long poems "Qin Women's Yin" and "Peacock Southeast Flying" and "Mulan Poems" and called them "the three absolutes of Lefu". There are ten volumes of "Huanhua Collection", and later generations have compiled "Huanhua Words". There are also five "Bodhisattva Man" that lay the foundation for song poetry. The Quan Tang Poems recorded 316 of his poems.

Wei Zhuang's "Bodhisattva Man Advises the King to Be Drunk Tonight" is a masterpiece of his poetry. The full text is as follows: "Advise the king to be intoxicated tonight, and honor the ming dynasty before he speaks." Cherish the heart of the master, and the wine is also deeply affectionate. Must worry about the spring leakage short, Mo sue the golden cup full. When you meet wine and hehe, life can be geometric. ”

Wei Zhuang wrote in his words: I advise you to take a drunken break tonight, and do not talk about tomorrow's affairs at the banquet. Cherish the affection of the host, drink more and friendship is also deep. You should worry about the short time and stop pushing back the full glass of wine. How long can life be? It is better to drink more when you have wine.

Among them, "When encountering wine and hehe, life can be geometric" is a famous sentence of life in Yongjiu.
