Daniel Zhang, pen name: Banshan, born in 1962 in Baoshan, Yunnan, graduated from the School of Art of Henan University in 1989, member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, member of the Yunnan Calligraphers and Painters Association, member of the Dianyun Printing Society, and now lives in Xiamen.
2004: Calligraphy and painting works were published in major newspapers and magazines across the country;
2006: Chinese painting works won the National Education Award;
2008: Calligraphy and Chinese painting works were included in the dictionary of "Chinese Contemporary Calligraphy and Painting Masters" and the "Who's Who of Modern Chinese Calligraphy and Painting";
2008-2009: Traveling exhibition of calligraphy and painting works was held all over the country;
2011: The calligraphy work "Wu Body Character" won the gold medal of the National Font Competition, and the font won the silver medal of China, Japan, the Philippines and Malaysia, and was awarded the honorary title of "Artist with National Sense of Justice";
2013-2016: Exhibition of calligraphy and painting works was held in various art museums in Xiamen.
