Currently, publisher Paradox Interactive has unveiled a "second chance" for the prison architect's new DLC, which will include retrofitting and revamped features, and is expected to be available on June 16, 2021.

Reform and revamp features in Prison Architect: Second Chances help your inmates improve their behavior while giving them the opportunity to shorten their sentences and give them a fresh start.
Main features
Regression: New programs such as animal therapy, meetings with the general public, and "conflict resolution" courses led by expatriate prisoners remove negative traits and improve their behavior.
Good conduct: Prisoners' sentences may be shortened or extended depending on their behaviour; Players are rewarded for each prisoner who is rehabilitated; conversely, for each repeat offender, the player is fined.
Space for self-improvement: Prisoners who already have or have obtained a work permit can serve as clerks for prisoners and visitors in inmate-run rooms (including bakeries and restaurants).
Social reintegration: Prisoners can gain work experience by participating in various tasks and training programs.
Prison Architect's new DLC "Second Chance" is expected to hit the market on June 16, 2021, with interested players having access to the Steam Marketplace link.
