Kazakhstan plans to develop logistics and transit transport

According to the Ministry of Trade and Integration, Kazakhstan plans to set up bonded warehouses for the development of logistics and transit transport.

Bonded warehouses in various countries around the world complete 10%-30% of the total import and export value of goods.

Through the establishment of bonded warehouses, Kazakhstan's domestic warehousing infrastructure will be more effectively utilized and will lead to an increase in tariff revenue.

In addition, the shipment of online parcels transiting through Kazakhstan to Europe will bring 132 billion tenge - 1.27 trillion tenge to Kazakh logistics companies by 2025.

To that end, Kazakhstan must establish a transport network that includes road, air and rail.

To achieve this, it is planned to invest 7.6 trillion tenge by 2025.

Among them, 1.5 trillion tenge will be invested in 2021, 1.8 trillion tenge in 2022, 1.3 trillion tenge in 2023, 1.3 trillion tenge in 2024, and 1.6 trillion tenge in 2025.
