Chen Qingli: I have a deep love for education

September 2018 is the day Chen Qingli left the position of principal, and she has been working in the education industry for 32 years. After completing her tenure as principal, Chen Qingli made a choice that many people unexpectedly: to become an ordinary Chinese teacher.
Donglin Middle School, Guangfeng Middle School, Qiao Yi Experimental Middle School, teachers, class teachers, academic directors, principals, teachers... No matter what role she plays, in the eyes of the children, she is their dear Teacher Chen.
From 35 years of teaching, Chen Qingli often said: No matter where she is, meeting thousands of students is like meeting different kinds of flowers and plants in the garden.
There are many ways to learn a language. Chen Qingli often takes a unique approach to language teaching.
· Open the class in the experiment of knocking eggs, and explore the law of breaking from the outside force or breaking through from the inside;
· With the students, complete all kinds of interesting adventures in the imagination: imagine walking into the depths of the earth, climbing into the trees, and being a fish soaked in the water;
· Talk about childhood memories, draw mind maps, promote movies, introduce historical short stories...
Chen Qingli and colleagues established the "Wisteria Learning Shared Space", leading the students to know Lu Xun, Shen Congwen, Wang Zengqi, Lu Yao, Tolstoy, Zweig and other writers, discussing their texts during reading time, reading famous works with a research eye, and letting children understand the meaning of reading. Xu Yuhao, a student at Qiao Yi Experimental Middle School, likes the "Reading Doubts" project the most, and through bold experimentation, he embarked on the road of love and inquiry.
Zhu Yuyao said that there was a vast ocean hidden in Teacher Chen's eyes. When answering questions or talking, Teacher Chen's eyes are shining, and her eyes are very good at searching, in the sky, in the ocean, in the sea of flowers, in the wheat field, looking for the shining bright spot.
Chen Qingli is not only a Chinese teacher, but also a spiritual guardian and nurturer of students.
The students in Chen Qingli's eyes are the flowers that can open at every moment, she said, the flowers will bloom, but the seasons are different.
Chen Qingli understands that "the growth of that different tree" is more important than "the growth of that tree". She pays attention to children's academics, pays more attention to children's spiritual growth, and helps students open up, stretch and grow their inner world.

Nearly thirty years have passed, and I still clearly remember the way Teacher Chen stood in front of the podium, she was always neatly dressed, with a smile, and used a gentle voice to read, explain, and comment on the students, and she seemed to have never made a face to the students in her memory. I prefer to compare Teacher Chen to "spring mud", with love and hope, tolerance and inclusion.

Writing in Teacher Chen's "reading space", it is as if I finally saw a fireplace on a cold rainy night, the rough fragrance of firewood emitted from the mottled red bricks, and the orange fire danced and danced there, that warmth, there was an inexplicable stability and ease.
In October 2020, Chen Qingli went to Qinghai Xunhua to teach and send lessons, and returned to Wuxi, she has been worried about those children, from time to time to send them good books, maintain teaching and research interaction with local teachers, and let Xunhua students and Overseas Chinese students pass books back and forth, the end of the world, the deep love of "friendship sea".
In the decades of getting along with students, Chen Qingli has embarked on a path of her own education.
From different perspectives, understand different people, experiences and their stories, full of understanding of students' differences, respect for each student's own ideas, so that education presents unlimited magic and possibilities.
