The main arch of the tropical rainforest greenhouse of the Qingdao Oriental Eden Project of the Second Bureau of China Construction Bureau was successfully closed

  On October 13, the tropical rainforest greenhouse pavilion of the Qingdao Oriental Eden Project undertaken by China Construction Second Bureau successfully achieved the X-shaped main arch closure.

  Qingdao Oriental Eden is located in the south of Torch Road, Chengyang District, Qingdao City, south of Jiaozhou Bay, east of the Baisha River Bridge, with a total construction area of 58,000 square meters, the first phase includes four single bodies: entrance venue, water quality hall, tropical rainforest greenhouse hall and water extreme hall. The Tropical Rainforest Greenhouse Is the key venue for the construction of the project, with a single construction area of 34,000 square meters, and the greenhouse takes the source of the rockery and the waterfall falling water as the visual center, and visitors can view the entire rainforest through the high-altitude walkway. Its steel structure has a large span, the structure is nearly elliptical droplet type, the maximum span is 194 meters, the maximum width is 135 meters, the maximum height is 57.4 meters, about 3200 tons, is the largest span of single-layer mesh shell structure in Asia.
