The daughter of the party | Liu Qingyang: A banner for the cause of women's liberation in China

author:Nine factions view the world

The patriotic upsurge at the beginning of the twentieth century led Liu Qingyang to join the mass movement at an early age and begin his revolutionary life. At the beginning of her work-study in France, Liu Qingyang joined the Communist Party, and after returning to China, she founded China's first daily newspaper with women as the main body of newspapers, "Women's Daily", which launched a fierce attack on the old social system. Although the newspaper lasted only nine months, Liu Qingyang dedicated his life to the women's liberation movement. In the era of surging revolutionary movements, Liu Qingyang dared to be the first and unswervingly devoted himself to calling for women's awakening and striving for women's liberation.
