It is understood that Luigi Ferrari will report directly to Mr. Lin Mi, CEO of Yundu Automobile, lead the Yundu Automobile Modeling Creative Center in Shanghai, and create a unique family design language for Yundu Automobile in the new generation of platforms and models.

According to the data, Luigi Ferrari graduated from the famous IED European Design Institute in 2001 and has served honda, Changan, SAIC and other well-known automobile companies in Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom and China, with more than 20 years of international experience in the creative design of automobile styling.
According to the official introduction of Yundu Automobile, before taking up the new Yundu Automobile, Luigi Ferrari was the head of styling and design of the Shanghai team of the world-renowned design company Pininfarina, and led an international team of more than 20 designers to develop Pininfarina into a top consulting company in the field of transportation design and new mobility in China.

As one of the earliest established new energy vehicle brands in China, Yundu Automobile is currently developing a new generation of intelligent pure electric vehicle platform, which is compatible with the development needs of various models such as cars, crossovers and SUVs in the B-class to C-class product ranges.
It is reported that Yundu Automobile's first quasi-mass production concept car based on the new platform will be unveiled no later than the first quarter of 2022, with an axle length ratio of nearly 0.62, which can provide more seating space and a more aerodynamic body posture.

In August last year, Yundu Automobile released its "Five-Year Plan", that is, to rank among the top three domestic pure electric vehicle brands in 2025 and represent China's new energy automobile enterprises in the global market competition.
According to the plan, Yundu's new generation of solid-state batteries is scheduled to achieve mass production in 2025, and the energy density of the battery is 1 times higher than that of ordinary ternary lithium batteries, the cycle life is increased by 10 times, and the environmental adaptability due to electrolytes will be wider. At the same time, Yundu will also develop lithium-sulfur batteries. In terms of fuel cells, Yundu will realize the demonstration operation of small-scale fleets in 2021 and mass production on some models in 2025. In addition, Yundu will also develop oil-cooled flat copper wire motor technology and silicon carbide power component motor controller.
