The film was shortlisted for the 2nd Hainan Island International Film Festival, the 28th China Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival, and won six awards including the Best Actor Award at the Golden Oak Awards of the 2019 Asian Film Festival in the United States, and the Best Screenplay Award at the Golden Maple Leaf International Film Festival in Canada in the same year.
