The TV series "Armageddon" is directed by Gao Xixi, written by Huang Jiandong, and starring Tang Guoqiang, Wang Jinsong, Liu Tao, Su Qing, Yu Hewei, Liu Jin, Wang Wufu, Guo Lianwen, Wang Jian and so on. Taking the famous "Three Great Battles" of the Liberation War as the main clue, the drama concentrates on the four years from the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression in 1945 to the founding of the People's Republic of China on October 1, 1949, when the Communist Party of China represented by Mao Zedong and the Kuomintang clique led by Chiang Kai-shek played a key game at the strategic, tactical and combat levels, and on the basis of a high degree of restoration of history, with a new literary and artistic technique, providing new annotations for the history of the Party.
