In the process of selecting a garden for Tiedong Road, the garden department "hit" a nearly 26-acre abandoned yard of the petroleum company in the southwest corner of the intersection of Changshe Road and Tiedong Road at a glance.

Before the demolition of the wall, the garden of the Changge Hotel was an internal garden, although it did not restrict the entry and exit of people, but under the obstruction of the fence, the citizens only had one access channel, the south gate.

The team members and the on-site construction personnel all ate and lived on the construction site. Before 2019, the northwest corner of the intersection of Jianshe Road and Light Industry Road was a small forest, and the forest was full of all kinds of domestic garbage dumped by surrounding residents, and the smell was pungent. The construction office has thoroughly cleared the forest many times, but in a short period of time, it has returned to the pre-cleaning state, which is very difficult to manage.
"The surrounding residents have long developed the habit of taking out the garbage here, and after the garbage is cleaned up, as long as one person takes the garbage in the woods, others will follow." A restaurant owner next to the woods told the editor.
In order to completely solve this "health dead end", the Garden Department and the Municipal Housing and Construction Bureau, after transplanting the plants in the woods elsewhere, rebuilt a corridor frame of more than 10 meters long, and planted 10 mature osmanthus trees next to the shelf as decorations.
In October 2020, the fragrance of osmanthus flowers, once everyone would rather take a detour than approach the forest, turned into a small garden for the daily gathering and leisure of surrounding residents.
