In 1920, the two graduated from the Beijing Army Lecture Hall at the same time. Feng xian served as the chief of staff of the lieutenant colonel of the Northeast Aviation Department, and after 1925, he was promoted to major general air force commander and commander of the armored force, under the command of Zhang Xueliang and Han Chunlin. In a battle, the armored troops were completely destroyed, Feng Yong escaped alone, Han Chunlin (commander) advocated that Feng Yong be executed, and later Zhang Xueliang looked at the face of the older generation, and hindered the love of his classmates, but only dismissed his officials and avoided death.

After Zhang Xueliang founded Northeastern University, Feng Yong thought that running a school was more promising than running a factory, so he decided to sell his private property to start a university.

After his father's death in 1926, Feng Yong cleaned up and sold his family property, raised about 1.5 million to 2 million silver dollars, and began to build Feng Yong University on the original 300,000 square meters of land of the Feng family. He aspires to cultivate human resources for the country. The main buildings of the school are Zhonglou, Renlou and Zhongyonglou, and the three floors are connected by corridors in the shape of "Gong".
