On October 30, the Taijiquan Professional Committee of the Shanghai Jingwu Sports Association held a biennial election, and Sun Yu, the former director of the special committee, was re-elected by the members of the special committee.
Sun Yu is the director of the Martial Medicine Studio of the Chinese Society for Life Sciences, a health consultant of the Swiss Longevity Research Club, and a Chinese martial arts liudan. The third generation of Sun Lutang Neijiaquan, the fifth generation of Wu-style Taijiquan, and the twelfth generation of Chen-style Taijiquan. He has been teaching and disseminating Sun-style Taijiquan in Beijing and Shanghai for a long time, and has been engaged in tai chi and medical related research.
