Recently, the "5G Grain and Oil Era Zero Trans Fat Edible Oil International Forum" hosted by the Oil and Fat Branch of the Grain and Oil Society and Yihai Kerry, and co-organized by Arowana Sunshine Zero Trans Fat Edible Oil, was opened at the Arowana Building. Ma Jing, associate professor at Harvard Medical School, interpreted the health hazards of trans fats.

Ma Jing introduced that the intake of trans fats is significantly positively correlated with the risk of cardiovascular disease and heart disease, and at the same time, it will also bring risks of diabetes, cancer and reproductive health. She believes that the elimination of trans fatty acids is imperative.
"Trans fats were discovered more than 100 years ago, and by the 1970s and 1980s trans fats were widely used, and in 1993 Harvard University released the first forward-looking research findings that trans fats contained in diets were associated with cardiovascular disease, while also reporting that the intake of trans fats would lead to an increase in the number of deaths per day by 30,000." Ma Jing said.
