Shanghai Disney Resort has just released that shanghai disneyland and Disneytown will be temporarily closed on November 1 and 2, 2021 (Monday and Tuesday) due to epidemic prevention and control requirements. <h2>Refunds: Refunds are possible</h2>

According to Shanghai Disney Resort, guests holding Shanghai Disneyland tickets on October 31, 2021 and/or November 1 and/or November 2, 2021 may do so for the next six months (i.e., before April 30, 2022 for guests with Tickets for October 31, 2021, and before May 1, 2022 for Guests with Tickets for November 1, 2021, inclusive). For guests with tickets for November 2, 2021, before May 2, 2022, inclusive) choose to visit Shanghai Disneyland on any day.

Upon visit, visitors can present the original ID card or travel document used to purchase tickets for the Park on 31 October and/or 1 November and/or 2 November 2021 at the park entrance gate in exchange for the same-day ticket without prior reservation. Guests holding a two-day ticket can go to the Guest Information Center located outside the main entrance of Shanghai Disneyland with the ID card or travel document used at the time of ticket purchase in exchange for a same-day ticket.

Refunds can be made if they are unable to visit within the next six months for any reason. Guests who purchased tickets through the Shanghai Disney Resort official website, App, WeChat public account, Shanghai Disney Resort Reservation Service Center, Resort Fliggy Official Flagship Store or Jingdong Official Flagship Store can submit a refund application through the Shanghai Disney Resort Official App, and the refund will be returned to the original payment account within 45 working days. Visitors who purchase tickets through other official channels can contact the original ticket purchase channel for a refund.

<h2>About other resort products and services</h2>

Guests who have purchased Other Designated Day products and services such as Disney Exclusive Tour Services, Disney Concierge Services, Park Morning Pass, etc. for Shanghai Disneyland on October 31, 2021 and/or November 1 and/or November 2, 2021 through the Shanghai Disney Resort Official Website, App, WeChat Public Account, Shanghai Disney Resort Reservation Service Center, Resort Fliggy Official Flagship Store or Jingdong Official Flagship Store will be automatically refunded from the original purchase channel. Visitors who have purchased products and services for designated days through other official channels can contact the original purchase channel to apply for a refund.

Two hotels at Shanghai Disney Resort are currently operating, but Disney said it understands that some visitors may need to change their travel plans. Guests who have already booked their Shanghai Disney Resort hotel on October 31, 2021 and/or November 1 and/or November 2, 2021 may contact the original purchase channel for inquiries.
