Introduce Niu Decao and visit Xiao Changhua
In April 1952, Sang Zhenjun accepted her third disciple, Zhou Yanlin. Before that, she had taught two disciples, Xie Yanfang and Xie Aiqin, who were a pair of uncles and sisters. Xie Aiqin's husband is Niu Decao.
Sang Zhenjun repeatedly explained to the disciples the principle of ten years of work on stage and offstage for one minute, and strictly trained the disciples in the basic skills of drama.
At that time, Niu Decao had not yet become famous, the salary was not high, the family burden was heavy, and life was very poor. He is an aspiring actor who aspires to worship the famous ugly Xiao Changhua of Peking Opera. But in the capital, to worship such a famous person as Xiao Changhua, it is not to say that whoever wants to worship can worship, first of all, the teacher is willing to accept this disciple, and the second is the ability to hold a worship ceremony, just these two will block the road of cattle and grass.
Sang Zhenjun remembered Niu Decao's wish, so he took the opportunity of Tian Han, the minister of culture, to ask her to go to Beijing to see her throat, and took Niu Decao with him. Niu Decao followed Sang Zhenjun and first visited Tian Han, who was introduced by Tian Han and smoothly paid homage to Xiao Changhua.
Niu Decao knew in his heart that without Sang Zhenjun's face, this was almost impossible.
A few days later, they held a grand ceremony at the Donglaishun Hotel in Beijing. All the expenses, as well as the travel expenses of Niu Decao, were also borne by Sang Zhenjun.

Decades later, Niu Decao became famous for his opera film "Seven Pin Sesame Officers". After Niu Decao arrived in Handan, the spring breeze was triumphant, and it was warmly welcomed and solemnly received from top to bottom. At the meeting to welcome Niu Decao, leaders at all levels and celebrities in Handan honored him as "Niu Teacher", but Sang Zhenjun seemed to be "ignorant of current affairs" and "got grass" one by one.
At first, the leaders of the city were puzzled, and Niu Decao was not only not annoyed with Sang Zhenjun, but also respectful, until later Niu Decao proudly introduced himself to people, "She is a lady and also my mentor", and only then did he know the reason.
Sang Zhenjun received apprentices, from the opening of the door to the last time, the time span is 54 years. The teacher and apprentice have affection, and the years are merciless. The first time she received apprentices, she was a 17-year-old beautiful woman, and when she finally accepted apprentices, she had become a 71-year-old gu rare old man.
Turbulent displacement, creating a master of Yu opera
Sang Zhenjun was born in 1928 in a poor family of entertainers in Xiangfu District , Kaifeng City ( formerly Kaifeng County ) , the son of an artist who sang a pendant from Henan. In order to have a mouthful of food to eat, at the age of 5, Sang Zhenjun officially worshipped his mother as a teacher and learned to sing Henan pendants.
At the age of 10, Sang Zhenjun entered the Yu opera class and began to learn Yu opera. Sang Zhenjun did not enter the drama class as a full member, but was the child daughter-in-law of Xie Shunming, who was a singing student (Xie Shunming was only 13 years old at the time).
Sang Zhenjun's voice is not very good, singing the pendant is OK, singing Yu opera drama is obviously not good. She was born in the door, experienced hardships since childhood, and knew very well that to eat by singing, she must have a good voice. In order to practice her voice, like many theater artists, she got up early every day to shout her voice, and did not dare to be lazy every day.
People with hearts, the sky is not worth it. After a few years, Sang Zhenjun can finally sing Yu opera. Seeing that she was a piece of material, Master Xue Dongxin in the drama team told her two plays of "Collecting Firewood" and "Broken Bridge". Sang Zhenjun was particularly attentive, and the play was basically remembered from the brain. She studied hard and began to perform on stage, doing the second-way leading role. At the age of 14, she starred and became a real Yu opera actress.

This year, the drama team went to Jiaozuo to perform and caught up with the war, and the drama team dispersed. Sang Zhenjun was tricked back into Kaifeng by a small gong and sold to the aunt of the Japanese secret service captain (Han traitor) as a righteous daughter (actually a maid). Sang Zhenjun's life was very difficult, and he was often beaten and angry. Even so, she still got up early every day to shout at the Dragon Pavilion. When this aunt saw Sang Zhenjun being beaten and scolded, she did not give up learning to play, so she saw that she had worshiped the famous artist Zhao Qinghe as a teacher...
Original genre, achieve a very high artistic achievement
In his decades of stage career, Sang Zhenjun has poured a lot of time and energy into Xuchang.
Sang Zhenjun's Xuchang District Yu Opera Troupe has a neat lineup and famous characters. In such a big environment, she has become the top actor of the Xuchang Special District Yu Opera Troupe by virtue of her diligence and studiousness in art, excellence, innovation and unique singing style. In 1956, she starred in the costume mythological drama "White Lotus", representing Xu Chang in the first opera observation and performance conference in Henan Province, and won the first prize of opera performance.

During this period, her performances in Beijing, the tour up and down the great river, and the successive performances of nearly 20 modern operas created the glory of the Yu Opera Troupe in Xuchang Special District, and also left a page in the history of Henan Yu Opera.
In 1987, Sang Zhenjun was transferred to Handan Art School as honorary principal. Among the students trained by Sang Zhenjun, there are 4 winners of the "Plum Blossom Award" and 19 national first-class actors. In recognition of Sang Zhenjun's outstanding contributions, the Handan Municipal Government specially awarded her the "Handan City Artistic Achievement Award", and she was also hired by the Handan Municipal People's Government as an artistic consultant, serving as an honorary member of the Hebei Provincial Federation of Literature and Literature and an artistic consultant of the Hebei Dramatists Association.
Handan City declared the "Sangpai" art of Yu opera as an intangible cultural heritage, and in 2008 it was included in the national intangible cultural heritage list, which was the first of the six major genres of Yu opera to enter the national intangible cultural heritage list.
