Red Net Moment, July 11 (Reporter Wang Juanjuan Correspondent Ding Yangliang) On July 10, the "Eighty Couples Calligraphy and Painting Life -'We' Jiang Kun Zheng Xiaojuan Painting Exhibition" opened in Changsha Li Zijian Art Museum. The exhibition of more than 300 masterpieces of Chinese painting by two artists over 80 years old is also the largest retrospective exhibition in the lives of the two old artists.

Jiang Kun and Zheng Xiaojuan, two old artists, are well-known painters in the country and highly respected predecessors in the Hunan art world. The two met in Hunan Art College, graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Hunan Normal University in 1963, from friends in the same window to white-haired couples, holding the hands of their sons, and getting along with each other; in terms of artistic style, they each maintain relative independence, "harmony and difference", Yiyuan Shuangying. His character and art are well-known stories in the painting world. Their artistic achievements have not only had a profound impact on the art circle in Hunan, but also gained the reputation of the country and even the world.

Jiang Kun is a great painter of broad spectrum, especially known for his ink freehand paintings, and every subject of landscapes, flowers, birds and figures is very wonderful. His ink freehand paintings are mostly based on the theme of The Land of Huxiang, depicting the mountain and river scenery of the clouds steaming Xiaxia Weiwei grass and trees, and the stilted towers embedded in the mountains and forests. Zheng Xiaojuan focuses more on the field of character painting creation, and both are exquisite. Most of his heavy paintings are based on the huxiang people, depicting the simple, healthy, beautiful and kind character life, and praising the beauty of nature and man.

The "Eighty Couples Calligraphy and Painting Life - 'We' Jiang Kun Zheng Xiaojuan Painting Exhibition" fully and systematically shows the painters' more than 60 years of calligraphy and painting life, and presents the artistic journey of their sons. More than 300 representative works of Chinese painting, with magnificent atmosphere and thousands of meteorological conditions, gather five major exhibition halls, including more than ten series of works such as "Xiangqian Travel", "Traceability of the Yangtze River", "Dongting Lake Township" and "Wuling Landscape". Walking into the exhibition, the audience will strongly feel the magnificence of the mountains and rivers, the spirit of the people, and the agility of life, which are vividly interpreted under the artist's pen; they feel the artistic charm and surging power contained in the works. In the ornamentality full of visual pleasure, you will deeply feel that "Chinese art" is deeply rooted in the traditional roots, the infinite charm of entering the ancient and the new, and the pride and self-confidence in the Chinese national culture will emerge spontaneously.

On the occasion of the centenary birthday of the Communist Party of China and the celebration of the whole country, the two painters jointly held the "Eighty Couples of Calligraphy and Painting Life - 'We' Jiang Kun Zheng Xiaojuan Painting Exhibition" in the name of the two couples, and with their artistic achievements full of emotion, innocence, benevolence and beauty, they not only brought an artistic feast full of pure affection and local feelings to the public, but also presented a rich artistic gift for the party's centennial birthday.

Curator Li Zijian's carefully conceived theme of the exhibition, "The Two of Us", gives this special exhibition a deeper meaning, bringing endless feelings and throbbing hearts to the viewer. The exhibition will run until 8 August 2021 and will be open to the public free of charge.
