Lin Moyu, a veteran actor of the Bayi Film Studio, drove to Hexi at 3:38 p.m. today, and today coincided with the birthday of the old man, who died at the age of 96.

Her most well-known role in her later years was Jia Mu in the movie "Dream of the Red Chamber".
Reprinted here, the WeChat public account Shanghai Film Critics Association voiceover article "Lin Moyu: The Cultivation of the Goddess" deeply commemorates the old artists.
Performance artist Ms. Lin Moyu is definitely a legend among actresses of the same generation. Her beauty is not the kind of thick eyebrows, big eyes, twist and big braids that are common in old movies, such as red sorghum, and she is not a small wild cat with shaved shoulders and charming. She is beautiful and safe, and there is no lack of elegance and agility, wearing a cheongsam is a golden branch and jade leaves, and putting on a Lenin outfit is also pleasing to the eye. Such a woman should be the one who cares most about fate, right?
Time never answers.
One of the goddess cultivation records - Ketu Qiu Hate
Lin Moyu was born in Beijing in 1924 to a poor family. In Lin Moyu's memory, her childhood life is full of sorrow and tears. The family of three traveled to Nanjing, Huaiyin and Zhenjiang, but my father returned from unemployment again and again. On New Year's Day in 1937, Xiao Moyu and his mother put their father on the northbound train. This distinction turned out to be the eternal recipe. Soon, the "July 7" incident broke out, the Japanese Kou ran rampant, Zhenjiang was tight, and every family was fleeing. After much deliberation, the helpless mother entrusted Lin Moyu, who was only 13 years old, to a young man surnamed Ji and asked him to take his daughter out of Zhenjiang for Shanghai.
In war-torn Shanghai, in a family of six consisting of two elderly grandmothers, Ji Mu, a young man surnamed Ji, and his third brother and MoYu, Xiao Moyu took on all the household chores. When a pigeon whistle passes over the alley, Lin Moyu, who is choosing vegetables or panning for rice, should also have a moment of trance and hesitation, right? But she was not willing, not willing to live up like a medicine. The third elder of the Ji family was a young man who knew how to read, and seeing that Lin Moyu liked to read, he lent her the books and publications he read. Lin Moyu first came into contact with Barkin's novel, and this praise could not be put down anymore. In her rare leisure, she followed two female middle school students from the neighborhood to sneak out to watch movies and dramas.
In the third year of the Ji family, Mo Yu used his hard-earned pocket money to enroll in a women's cram school. Relying on her little foundation in primary school culture, she took four courses: Chinese, Arithmetic, Bookkeeping, and English. After a day of housework, she squeezed out two hours of rest and rushed to attend classes. At night, the Ji family slept, hiding on a table full of debris around her, and with a dim lamp, she wrote her homework one by one. Lin Moyu has made up his mind to be a professional woman.
Lin Moyu was eventually admitted to a clerk job at Shanghai Lyceum Photo Studio, responsible for accounting and billing. Out of the work, MoYu put the original name Lin Shaoyun should be lin Moyu today. The two words of silent giving take the meaning of making contributions to society and giving silently.
At that time, the Lyceum Photo Studio was a small two-story building located at the mouth of the downtown area. Because of the good management, it has attracted some celebrities, mainly stars in the entertainment industry, to take photos. One day in the summer of 1942, at the counter of the photo studio, Lin Moyu met Shangguan Yunzhu, an actress from the Chinese traveling troupe at the time. Lin Moyu's beautiful appearance and a pure Chinese left a very special impression on Shangguan Yunzhu. She took the initiative to invite Lin Moyu to see her performance, and always enthusiastically brought tickets for the play.
In the China Travel Theater Troupe, Lin Moyu, who came to see the play, met the leader of the troupe, Tang Huaiqiu. The first thing Tang Tuan said when he saw her was: "How about you come to act?" ”
The second part of the goddess cultivation - the love of the city
Lin Moyu fell in love with the stage and no longer had the heart to sit in the photo studio to issue tickets. She quit the photo studio and became a full-time actress in a Chinese traveling theater troupe. At this moment, the Ji family could no longer tolerate her. With the consent of the young man surnamed Ji, in the summer of 1942, Lin Moyu officially published a statement in the Shanghai newspaper, and from then on he was separated from all relations with the Ji family. Lin Moyu then moved out of the Ji family, and soon she took her mother out. Five years apart, Lin Moyu has struggled from a child bride to a self-reliant, and when mother and daughter meet, they have mixed feelings.
In 1942, at the opening ceremony of the Shanghai Empress Theatre, the Chinese Traveling Theater troupe performed the drama "Green Window Red Tears", in which Lin Moyu was invited to play the role of Qiu Ju. Although it was the first time to play a famous and surnamed role on the stage, the kind of understanding of performance that Lin Moyu showed in her hands and feet made her get a lot of praise, and she was destined to stay on the stage for the rest of her life.
There is undoubtedly happiness in acting, but the cost of being an actor in that era is also huge. At the end of 1942, Lin Moyu toured the north with the Chinese traveling theater troupe. First to Tianjin, in the New Year of 1943, the troupe came to Beiping to perform "Red Tears in the Green Window" at the Chang'an Grand Theatre. Before the play could end, the Japanese gendarmes surrounded the theater and the troupe was taken into a truck. The car drove to the eastern suburbs of Minxiang, and Lin Moyu and his party were descended into the dungeon of the Japanese gendarmes. Lin Moyu was imprisoned inside for a month before being sent back to Shanghai.
At this time, the winter depression in Shanghai has not yet receded. After a few gentle rains, the few oleanders at the mouth of the lane quietly bloomed, and the breath of spring was finally near.
The China Experimental Drama Troupe rehearsed the new play "Clouds And Light Winds" at the Emerald Theatre. The female protagonist is Lin Moyu, and the male protagonist invites Zhou Chu, a movie star of the Shanghai Filmmaker Troupe. Zhou Chu walked into the troupe, and the first person he met was Lin Moyu. Lin Moyu saw that Zhou Chu was sweating all the way, so he let him sit down in the audience of the theater, and then went to the commissary to buy Zhou Chu a bottle of soda to drink. The two young men chatted casually. Before parting, Zhou Chu said to Lin Moyu: "My sister has seen your play and likes you very much, and hopes to have a recent photo of you sent back to Tianjin." The generous Lin Moyu immediately took out a small photo and gave it to him.
In the performance of "Thunderstorm", the theater conditions were poor. There are many clutter piled up in the background. Lin Moyu stepped on the nails of the old wooden board, and Zhou Chu quickly helped her pull out the nails, squeeze out dirty blood, and encouraged her to continue to perform on stage. Since then, a warm feeling has quietly taken root in Lin Moyu's heart.
In March 1945, the drama "Peking Man" was performed at the Beiping Chang'an Grand Theater, with Zhou Chu as the director and Lin Moyu as Yuan Yuan. On the sixth day of the performance, the Japanese gendarmerie team came and put all the cast members in a big truck and put them in the prison of the Japanese gendarmes at Dongzhu City. Two days later, Lin Moyu and most of them were released, but Zhou Chu was still locked up inside.
As soon as Lin Moyu was released from prison, he immediately went to Tianjin to report to the Zhou family. She went around entrusting people to rescue Zhou Chu, and also sold a bicycle that she bought from the income from participating in "Beijinger". Lin Moyu also ran to visit the prison and sent Zhou Chu his favorite cigarette.
Half a month later, Zhou Chu was released from prison. The two decided to get married.
Goddess Cultivation Record No. 3 - The Thief of Years
From 1948 to 1949, Lin Moyu was invited by Datong Film Company to star in films such as "Demons of the Sea of People", "Happy Heaven and Happy Land", and "Several Storms". This period was the beginning of Lin Moyu's official transition from the drama stage to the screen, and it was also an important turning point in her artistic career. After the release of several films, Lin Moyu became popular in the film industry and began to be called "the amphibious star of film and drama".
At this time, a new era has arrived. On the days of celebrating the liberation of Shanghai, Lin Moyu selflessly threw himself into propaganda and performance activities, and successively participated in the "factory protection movement" of the struggle against the capitalists and the collection of donations for the People's Liberation Army. In the same period, in Kunlun Film Company's new film "Sanmao Wandering", which welcomed liberation, she ran away with Zhao Dan, Lan Ma, Shangguan Yunzhu, Zhu Lin and other star actors, leaving a good story for the Shanghai film industry at that time.
After the liberation of the whole country, Lin Moyu participated in the filming of films such as "Green Lantern Complaint", "Red Chamber Eryou" and "Peace Dove" in Shanghai. Shanghai Datong and Cathay Pacific two film companies want to sign a shooting contract with her. At this time, someone from Hong Kong sent another letter inviting Lin Moyu and Zhou Chu to Hong Kong to shoot a movie. Comrade Ah Ying, a good friend of Zhou Chu, was the director of the Tianjin Literature and Art Department in the early days of liberation, and he very much hoped that they would stay in Tianjin to work and assist him in founding the Tianjin People's Art Theater.
In the spring of 1951, the Cultural and Labor Troupe of the General Political Department of the People's Liberation Army sent people to contact Lin Moyu and Zhou Chu, inviting them to participate in the work of the troops and create the Drama Troupe of the General Political Department together. In December of the same year, Lin Moyu and Zhou Chu gave up all their belongings in Shanghai and took four children between the ages of one and six to go north together to the General Political And Cultural Troupe. In the road to Hong Kong, Shanghai, Tianjin and Beijing, they finally chose the road of going north to join the army.
For a long time after that, the audience who loved Lin Moyu did not see her on the screen again. Lin Manyu poured all his creative passion into the drama stage of New China. She participated in the dramas of the General Political And Cultural Troupe, such as "The Dawn Shines on Moscow", "The August 1st Storm", "Jinggangshan", "Letter from the South", etc., and was received by the beloved Premier Zhou many times.
At the moment when Lin Moyu was exerting his talents on the stage, a movement that had changed the fate of countless people came.
In 1970, the big hats of "bourgeois figures" and "sankai figures" assigned Lin Moyu and Zhou Chufa to the xundian county farm on the border of Yunnan. During their days on the farm, Lin Moyu and Zhou Chu did not alienate their beloved art. They were invited by the propaganda team of the Yunnan Provincial Military Region to teach trainees and organize rehearsals of dramas. Lin Moyu also gave a line lesson to the actors of the Yunnan Provincial Repertory Theatre. Lin Moyu and Zhou Chu survived in Yunnan for eight years, plus three years of regulatory review, and unconsciously, Lin Moyu had become an old woman with white sideburns. In the 20 years in between, she completely disappeared from the screen and left the beloved stage for 12 years. A lot of time is like a cloud above the farm, passing by suddenly. After the wind and rain, for more than ten years, Lin Moyu only said lightly: "It's a pity..."
Goddess Cultivation Record No. 4 - Golden Age
In October 1977, thanks to the interrogation of the Secretary-General, General Luo Ruiqing, Lin Moyu and Zhou Chucai were able to return to the art world and return to the General Political Department Bayi Film Studio to resume their long-interrupted artistic careers. That year, Lin Moyu was already 54 years old.
In 1983, director Que Wen of Beijing Film Studio invited Lin Moyu to star in "Cold Night". After three consecutive days of night play, Lin Moyu felt some discomfort in his heart. Finally she collapsed and was diagnosed by the hospital as having a heart attack.
From 1986, Lin Moyu accepted the role of Jia Mu in the movie "Dream of the Red Chamber". The film was shot for more than three years, and Lin Moyu really suffered a lot. On a hot summer day, there is no air conditioning in the studio of the North Film Studio, only a large blower blowing out a hot wind. Lin Moyu often feels chest tightness, so she always carries a bag of oxygen. Before filming, take in oxygen. The filming of the huge film "Dream of the Red Chamber", Lin Moyu filmed from 62 years old to 66 years old. In 1990, Lin Moyu won the Golden Rooster Award for the film that year and the Best Supporting Actress Award for the Hundred Flowers Award for the role of Jia Mu. In the face of the crowd of media interviews, Lin Moyu's words were still indifferent: "Very happy, very unexpected, very indifferent." ”
In 2003, Mr. Zhou Chu, who had been in love with Lin Moyu for nearly 60 spring and autumn months, passed away peacefully under the protection of his wife and children. This year, the 79-year-old Lin Moyu refused all social activities, declined her children's requests to take care of her life, and took her luggage to a nursing home in Tianjin. How to grow old with dignity, Lin Moyu's choice is natural and maverick, which is the consistent style of professional women Lin Moyu.
In Lin Moyu's story, there is no bridge section of the starry night chasing the revolutionary team, no scene of the party flag telling the history of revolutionaries, and no grand chapter of growing up in the fires of war. But there have been long and difficult moments in her life, which at first glance have nothing to do with life and death, but she often dances with the tip of a knife. Fortunately, when the fate of a little girl and the green-faced fangs met again and again, Lin Moyu was not engulfed, relying on that firm heart and will, as well as the beauty that fate gave her could not be taken away, she was polished into a goddess who could withstand the consideration of time.
Life is never noisy.
