The dog shark is a species of fish in the genus Lennosaur in the family Diplodoceae.
A collective name for several small sharks in the family Horned Shark family, cat shark family, and wrinkled lip shark family. The horned shark family has a strong spine in front of each of the two dorsal fins.
The most famous is the white-spotted horned shark, which is abundant in the North Atlantic and North Pacific coasts, and the southern hemisphere is inhabited by a type closely related to it.
