The construction project of public transport intelligent electronic stop sign is to set up multimedia and LED screens on the bus platform to realize the real-time rolling release of vehicle operation scheduling information, civilized publicity and prompt information and important announcements to passengers, forming a dynamic information release system within the scope of public transport, effectively improving the passenger information service level, operation scheduling command level and rapid response ability of emergencies. Smart bus travel is further popularized, citizens can not only download the "Datong Bus" App through mobile phones to view real-time bus information, some foreign tourists and the elderly who are not used to using smart phones can easily enjoy the convenience of "pinching and waiting for the car" through electronic stop signs.

Bus intelligent electronic stop sign is divided into vertical and hoisting type two types, of which 30 vertical seats, hoisting type 59 seats, in the stop site selection priority to traffic hubs, hospitals, commercial centers and other crowded bus stops; installation will be based on the different shapes of each road bus station, choose to install the most appropriate stop type. At the same time, the bus smart electronic stop signs will be distributed to the main sections of the city, of which Weidu Avenue is fully covered, a total of 36 are set up; 14 are set up on Yuhe West Road, 4 are set up on Yongtai South Road, 8 are set up on Yunzhong Road, 6 are set in the ancient city area, 14 are set in Yudong, and 7 are set on South Ring Road.
