Nowadays, it refers to the five cities in Hexi among the 14 prefectures and cities in Gansu Province, namely Wuwei City, Jinchang City, Zhangye City, Jiayuguan City and Jiuquan City.
Cars were driving fast on the Liquor Highway, and the development of the highway pulled into the distance between the cities. More than 250 kilometers can be reached in more than three hours. If it was in ancient times, I don't know how long it would take.
Exit the highway and enter The Aerospace Avenue. The famous Jiuquan satellite launch base is located here.
Enter the poplar forest scenic spot and imagine how excited it will be when a golden yellow appears in front of you. However, when I came to the wild poplar forest, I was a little disappointed.
The forest is small, the leaves are sparse, and there is no golden color as imagined.

At 5 o'clock in the afternoon, we finally arrived at the Pearl of the Silk Road - Dunhuang.
"Desert Wonders" - Mingsha Mountain Crescent Spring Scenic Area is located 5 kilometers south of Dunhuang City, which is our first tourist destination after arriving in Dunhuang.
Entering the scenic area first experience the feeling of riding a camel through the desert.

The mountains are flexible because of the springs, and the springs are spectacular because of the mountains.
This unique landform of "sand spring symbiosis" is a wonder of the world. Leaving any of them alone will become dull.
