Li Guocheng, a villager in LiCaiyuan Village, Zhukou Town, Taikang County, and 22-year-old daughter Li Yanhui, who worked in Yiwu, Zhejiang Province, in May this year, sudden low back pain with high fever, three days of consciousness disorder and respiratory cardiac arrest and other emergencies, after several trips to the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou Medical University for treatment, expensive treatment fees soon made the family bear more than 200,000 yuan of foreign debt. After nearly 5 months of treatment, Li Yanhui is still unconscious, and Li Guocheng and his wife take care of their daughter every day and cannot go out to work, washing their faces with tears all day.
The arrival of volunteers brought warmth to Li Guocheng and his wife. "We are very touched by the help of well-wishers in society." Li Guocheng said movingly that originally, his husband and wife did not hold out any hope, and the warmth of the volunteers was like a beam of light illuminating their sad hearts.
In the village, volunteers also visited the families of Li Rongyuan and Li Wencheng, who were impoverished by illness.
