On December 24, Red Star News reporters learned from the Management Committee of Meishan Area of Tianfu New District, Sichuan province, that the construction of the Meishan section of Tianfu Avenue has passed the halfway point and is expected to run freely by the end of 2021, which also means that Tianfu Avenue, known as the "world's longest urban axis", will connect the central urban area of Meishan next year, the central axis of Chengdu's main urban area and the urban trunk road of Meishan's main urban area will be seamlessly connected, the traffic capacity and service level from Meishan to Chengdu will be greatly improved, and the development of Chengmei and the same city will be further deepened.

According to reports, the Meishan section of Tianfu Avenue starts from the level intersection of Tianfu Avenue and Chenghei Tourism Channel, passes through Meishan Area, Renshou County and Dongpo District of Tianfu New District, and ends at the reserved level intersection of Mindong Avenue, with a total length of 17.71 kilometers.
"The road is 12 lanes in both directions, of which the design speed of the main road is 80 kilometers per hour and the auxiliary road is 40 kilometers per hour, and the investment is expected to be 2 billion yuan." According to Zhang Kai, secretary of the party branch of the project, all the construction sections of the work surface have been rolled out, the site is mainly for road subgrade and culvert and other engineering construction, the entire project construction is advancing in an intense and orderly manner, has completed 50% of the total amount of the project, is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2021.
In the important node project of dongfeng canal transformation involved in the project, workers are rotating in two shifts to speed up construction.
"We are now removing the baffle from the main body of the rebuilt section of the Dongfeng Canal for the reconstruction of an aqueduct, and the current section of the project has been 60% completed and is expected to be completed by January 31 next year." The relevant person in charge of the construction site said that there are many places across the local old Dongfeng Canal in the Meishan section of Tianfu Avenue, in order to reduce the impact on agricultural water use during the construction period and better complete the road construction, the Dongfeng Canal has been reconstructed and upgraded, and the second, third, fourth and seventh sections of the Dongfeng Canal are currently being stepped up, and the construction is expected to be completed before May 31 next year.
At present, Meishan has realized the completion and operation of the Chengdu-Kunming Railway Double Line, and a large number of major Chengmei interconnection projects such as the Jianpu Expressway, the chengle high-speed expansion and transformation pilot section, the north section of the industrial avenue G351, and the Yongshou to Qingshen county section of Mindong Avenue have been completed and opened to traffic. In the future, Meishan will also actively realize the resumption of the Minjiang River and take a boat from Chengdu to the south, which is no longer a dream. Relying on Shuangliu International Airport and Tianfu International Airport, Meishan can achieve the same standard and level sharing with Chengdu through high-speed rail and highways, and the air transport conditions are at the leading level in the province.
In addition, at present, Meishan is also fully promoting the construction of the "broken head road" of the three intercity fast lanes between Meishan. The three intercity fast lanes include the southern extension of Yizhou Avenue, the southern extension of Zizhou Avenue, and the eastern line of the northern section of Binjiang Avenue, with a total mileage of 36.944 kilometers and a total investment of about 6.708 billion yuan, and are expected to be completed and opened to traffic by the end of 2022.

Starting point: The starting point connects with The Yellow Road (Chengdu Tianfu New Section) → Gaojia Town, Guiping Town, Meishan Tianfu New District, → ends in the Renshou section of the southern extension of Hongxing Road, and the Guansi Interconnection is set up on the southeast side of the Guiping Town Planning Area to connect the Jinjian Huang Expressway to the Chengdu High-tech East Section
3. East Line of The North Section of Binjiang Avenue

Starting point: starting from the northern section of Binjiang Avenue to build the Kunming Railway Cross-line Bridge → The Expressway around Tianfu New District → Tongjiang Avenue → ends in the connection with the designed Zhengyuan Road in Xinjin County, and the route is extended from north to south
It is scheduled to be completed and open to traffic by the end of 2021.
