On June 22, Ren Jianxin, deputy secretary of the county party committee and county magistrate, led the heads of relevant departments and units such as the county government office, the water bureau, the public security bureau, and the highway station to inspect and guide the road traffic safety and sand mining in the Yellow River.
Ren Jianxin successively went to the Hukou Scenic Area North Tourist Service Center, the Gaobai section of the Yanhu Highway and the Yichuan section of the Huang highway to inspect and guide the road safety and sand mining in the Yichuan section of the Yellow River.
Ren Jianxin demanded that we do a good job in road traffic safety work, first, we must set up safety warning signs and cordons on the rocky road section to remind passing vehicles and personnel to drive safely; second, we must arrange and deploy in a timely manner, organize machinery and manpower to comprehensively clean up the falling rocks, and ensure the smooth flow of highways; third, we must organize professionals to conduct a comprehensive investigation and management of the hidden dangers of road traffic safety in the county to ensure the safety of vehicles and personnel.
On further strengthening the sand mining work of the Yellow River in the Yichuan section of the Yellow River, Ren Jianxin demanded that, first, we should improve our ideological understanding, profoundly understand the important significance of protecting the ecological environment of the Yellow River, strengthen work measures, and continuously improve the ecological environment of the Yellow River Basin; second, we must further increase the intensity of sand mining control and supervision in the Yellow River, establish a long-term management and protection mechanism, severely crack down on illegal sand mining in the river, and consolidate the results of governance; third, we must resolutely overcome the paralyzing thinking and luck mentality, and comprehensively check and rectify the hidden dangers of flood prevention risks. Carefully and meticulously do a good job in flood prevention and water-wading safety management to ensure the safety of river floods and the surrounding masses; fourth, we must increase the policy publicity of laws and regulations on river sand mining, and effectively improve the masses' legal awareness, environmental protection awareness and safety awareness; fifth, we must accelerate coordination and docking with the Weihe Ecological Group, further standardize the order of river sand mining, and ensure the stability of the construction sand market.
