From November 6th to 14th, "The Lord of the Southern Tang Dynasty" will be premiered at the Shanghai Grand Theatre, interpreting the life of Li Yu, the last monarch and lyricist of the Southern Tang Dynasty, with the aesthetics of national style.

"Li Yu's words are stories, rhythms, rhythms, structures, music, and dance." When using musicals to represent this historical figure, director Liu Xiaoyi said that he should abandon some understanding of the rules and regulations inherent in musicals. "I didn't want to do it at the time, but then I heard Zhang Bo's music and "When is the Spring Flower and Autumn Moon", and I felt that I wanted to take this play. Pipa, Oh Na, Jiangnan Silk Bamboo... Zhang Bo uses folk music to outline the color and theme of the music, and at the same time, let the ancient style of national rhyme collide with the rock electronic sound, resulting in a spark. When portraying Li Yu, he also has a difference in design, and can hear two musical styles, subjective and objective, internal and external.

The costume design of the whole drama is based on the reference to the costume style of the late Tang Dynasty to the Song Dynasty, and integrates a modern fashion sense, with classical meaning and imagination space. The image design of each character uses different fabric textures and style shapes to shape the character of the character and distinguish the identity.

The inspiration for the stage design Xu Xiaohuan is "siege", Li Yu is surrounded by others, trapped by himself, and firmly bound by fate, in the siege, his poems break through time and region and are recited from generation to generation.

"Southern Tang Dynasty Lord" is jointly produced by Drama Gang Music and Shangxi Culture, and produced by Drama Gang Music.

Drawing inspiration from Chinese history and myths and legends, The Drama Guy Music and Shangxi Culture Plan launched the "New Guofeng Musical" trilogy, the leading "Wukong" has gained a good reputation, and after the advent of the Southern Tang Dynasty, there is also a "South Wall Project" on the way to production. In addition, the drama team music will continue to expand the series of musical "Wukong", and is expected to complete the "Wukong" trilogy in the next two years, interpreting a new mythological universe through the perspective of "Wukong".
