The forum cuts from the perspective of women's films, systematically sorts out the development of Chinese women's films, and finds new ideas for the development and creation of Chinese women's films in the future. Gao Qunshu expressed his understanding and views on "how male directors view women's films", and encouraged everyone to create and shoot more female films from a female perspective and with women as the protagonists. He also revealed that he will have several films to shoot in Hainan next year.
Producer Liang Jing shared the film "Eight Hundred" as an example, and she found that female audiences prefer "Eight Hundred". Liang Jing said that on the shooting scene, women will be more stubborn than men, and even want to persuade all men to rush forward and try to deal with movies in different ways. In the future, she and Guan Hu will also help more young directors.
Xue Xiaolu put forward views from the realistic theme of "Ocean Paradise" to the romantic comedy film "Beijing Meets Seattle" series how to shape female characters, and how to control the emotions of female characters in the work. Xue Xiaolu said that among the themes created by women, there are some topics that they may never have the courage to touch, such as death, family breakdown, etc. Creators need to start from their hearts more often, and for emotional subjects, whether they are men or women, they need to impress themselves first.
Director Yao Tingting said that women's films need to have a feminine image, and they will bring their own emotions and growth experiences when creating and directing works, and they are also growing up in constant suspicion.
