According to the news released by Dongfeng Motor News on August 13, three former executives of Dongfeng Motor's joint venture brand were investigated:
Chen Xi, former vice president of marketing and sales and director of the marketing and sales department of Dongfeng Renault Automobile Co., Ltd., was subject to supervision and investigation. The circular said that Chen Xi, former vice president of marketing and sales and director of the marketing and sales department of Dongfeng Renault Automobile Co., Ltd., was suspected of serious violations of the law and is currently under supervision and investigation by the Supervision Commission of Xianning City, Hubei Province, and has been taken into custody.
Qu Gang, former assistant director of the marketing and sales department of Dongfeng Renault Automobile Co., Ltd., was subject to disciplinary review and supervision investigation. The circular said that Qu Gang, former assistant director of the marketing and sales department of Dongfeng Renault Automobile Co., Ltd., was suspected of serious violations of discipline and law, and is currently undergoing disciplinary review by the Discipline Inspection Commission of Dongfeng Motor Group Co., Ltd. and the supervision and investigation of the Xianning Municipal Supervision Commission, and has been taken into custody.
Sun Yiwen, former director of the marketing department of Dongfeng Citroen Brand Department of Dongfeng Citroen Automobile Co., Ltd., was subject to supervision and investigation. The circular said that Sun Yiwen, former director of the marketing department of dongfeng Citroen brand department of Dongfeng Citroen Automobile Co., Ltd., was suspected of serious violations of the law and is currently under supervision and investigation by the Xianning Municipal Supervision Commission, and has been taken into custody.
Among the 3 executives who were investigated above, the most senior one was Chen Xi. According to the data, Chen Xi joined DPCA in 1995 and successively served as the senior manager of the marketing department and the ministry of commerce of DPCA, and then served as the director of the sales department of Dongfeng Citroen and the director of the sales department of Dongfeng Peugeot respectively.
In March 2014, the senior management of Dongfeng Citroen Automobile was adjusted, and Chen Xi returned to Dongfeng Citroen as the general manager of Dongfeng Citroen brand. In May 2016, Chen Xi was appointed as the director of dongfeng Renault's marketing and sales department, and in September of the same year, he was promoted to vice president of Dongfeng Renault, responsible for marketing, sales, after-sales, channel management, system construction and other work.
In October 2018, Chen Xi left the Dongfeng system and went to other car brands to develop. At the time of this investigation, Chen Xi had left Dongfeng Renault for nearly 3 years.

In June 2020, Zhou Wangsheng, deputy general manager of Dongfeng Special Equipment Division (Dongfeng Off-road Vehicle Co., Ltd., hereinafter referred to as Dongfeng Special Equipment), and Chen Jianxian, deputy director of the Technical Center of Dongfeng Company and deputy general manager of Dongfeng Special Equipment, were under supervision and investigation for suspected serious violations of their duties.

On April 9, 2021, Zhang Yuguang, former director of the marketing department of dongfeng Citroen brand department of Dongfeng Citroen Automobile Co., Ltd., was investigated for serious violations of his duties and was placed in lien measures.
On May 20, 2021, Yang Ning, former vice minister of the marketing department of Dongfeng Citroen Brand Department of Dongfeng Citroen Automobile Co., Ltd., was investigated for serious job violations.
On June 4, 2021, Dong Anyin, former deputy director of the marketing department of dongfeng Peugeot brand department of Dongfeng Peugeot Automobile Co., Ltd., was suspected of serious job violations and was under supervision and investigation by the Chongyang County Supervision Commission of Xianning City, and was taken into lien measures.
The Red Star Capital Bureau combed and found that, together with Chen Xi and 3 other people who were investigated in the latest notification, 13 people in the Dongfeng Department have been investigated since June last year. As one of Dongfeng's earliest joint ventures, Dongfeng Dongfeng Automobile has also become the "hardest hit area" of anti-corruption investigations.
Dongfeng not only waved the anti-corruption hammer to the joint venture plate, but also deeply anti-corruption for the supply chain.
In September 2020, the Discipline Inspection Commission of Dongfeng Motor and the Office of the Supervisor of the Daya Bay Economic and Technological Development Zone appointed by the Supervisor of Huizhou City, Guangdong Province, jointly conducted a case review and investigation into the serious violations of discipline and law by Han Liankai and Fang Likai. It is understood that Han Liankai and Fang Likai are the financial and procurement staff of Dongfeng Honda Auto Parts Co., Ltd., and the two of them take advantage of their positions to "cooperate with a number of suppliers inside and outside" to arbitrage a large amount of funds from the enterprise and divide them privately, suspected of embezzling their duties.
