Russian Foreign Ministry: The assertion of US politicians and experts on the Nord Stream-2 project implies unfair competition or politicalization intentions

On June 10, local time, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zakharova said at a regular press conference that russia does not understand US Secretary of State Blinken's statement on the need to "find a way to mitigate" the consequences of the operation of the Nord Stream-2 natural gas pipeline project. Any assertion by U.S. politicians and experts about the project implies unfair competition or attempts to politicize.

Zakharova stressed that "the Nord Stream-2 project has no negative impact on the European continent. The Nord Stream-2 project depends on 'how the countries located on the European continent 'interact' and we will make our own decisions."
