Since the 23rd, a team of more than 2,000 immigrants has set off from the southern border city of Tapachula in Mexico to the north, planning to first go to Mexico City, the capital of Mexico, to obtain documents for a legal stay in Mexico, and then to the United States. These migrants are mainly from Central American countries such as El Salvador and Honduras, including pregnant women and children. Since 2018, some Central American immigrants have gathered through social networks and other platforms to travel to the U.S.-Mexico border by hitchhiking and walking to seek entry into the United States.
