On October 25, the Fushun County People's Procuratorate's lawsuit against the Illegal Hunting Criminal Incidental Civil Public Interest Litigation Case was heard in public at the Fushun County People's Court. Pan Jianzhong, deputy procurator general of the people's procuratorate, and Chen Yujie, procurator of the procuratorate, appeared in court as public prosecution organs and public interest litigation prosecutors, and filed a criminal incidental civil public interest lawsuit against Lan X's illegal hunting of three protected animals in the state (terrestrial wild animals that are beneficial to the state protection or have important economic and scientific research value).

After review, in order to seek illegal benefits, defendant Lan X used the prohibited method of hunting under night lighting to illegally hunt about 750 grams of wild animal swamp frogs in the fields and land around the countryside of Tongsi Town, Fushun County, a total of 52, resulting in the loss of wildlife resources worth 5200 yuan, destroying the stability of the ecosystem, and should bear criminal incidental civil liability according to law.
During the trial, the public prosecutor and the public interest litigation prosecutor conducted sufficient evidence presentation and cross-examination of evidence centered on the facts of the crime, the criminal attached civil public interest litigation request, the facts and the reasons. Defendant Lan X confessed to the facts of his crime and expressed his willingness to bear criminal incidental civil liability for his acts of harming national wildlife resources. The case was pronounced in court, and the people's court supported all the litigation requests of the procuratorial organs, ordering the defendant Lan XX to be detained for four months, suspended for six months, and compensate for the losses caused by the destruction of wildlife resources of 5200 yuan, and the defendant Lan XX accepted the judgment in court.
