Foreign media IGN recently named the top ten works in the Assassin's Creed series, of which "Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag" won the first place, let's take a look.

10. Assassin's Creed: The Great Revolution

Although assassin's creed: The Revolution was not released very smoothly at the time, a large number of bugs, cumbersome maps disappointed players, but players who persevered can experience the unique charm of the French Revolution era background, as well as the multi-faceted assassination mission experience is also interesting, frankly, seeing the glory of Notre Dame cathedral makes the admission ticket to AC Union University worth the money.

9. Assassin's Creed: Mutiny

Assassin's Creed: Rogue introduces us to the Assassin-turned Templar Shay Cormac, a pseudo-prequel to Assassin's Creed 3 and Unity. Retain and even expand the outstanding naval combat and Forrest Gump swordplay in Black Flag, and if you like Black Flag, this generation is not to be missed.

8. Assassin's Creed: Revelation

Assassin's Creed: Revelations includes the story of Altair Ibn-La-Ahad and Ezio Auditore, and despite adding some less dramatic content, it's still a memorable and exciting piece. From zipline flights in Constantinople to hanging out with Leonardo da Vinci, Apocalypse is full of captivating adventures.

7. Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood added multiplayer battles and continued Ezio's story, cementing his position as the series' most fan-favorite protagonist. It swapped different locations in Assassin's Creed 2 for an expanded version of Rome and its surrounding countryside, and based on new mechanics introduced in Assassin's Creed 2 — swimming, asset management, guns, and recruitable allies.

6. Assassin's Creed: The Hall of Heroes

The Hall of Heroes wasn't recreated like Origins, but it did make some pretty substantial changes. Battles are more weighty and impactful than ever, and traditional side quests have been replaced by world events, which make exploring and discovery even more fun. Eivor may not be our favorite Assassin's Creed protagonist, but his (or her) story is fascinating and one of the best combinations of historical fantasy and mythology the series has ever seen.

5. Assassin's Creed: The Owl

The positioning of Assassin's Creed is often consistent with the positioning of the protagonist of the game, and the "Owl" is set in 19th-century Victorian London in the era of industrialization. Sneaking around in a factory, racing on the streets, and even fighting Jack the Ripper, all of the scenes are featured in Owl, and while still fantasy, the feeling is real.

4. Assassin's Creed 2

In many ways, we owe a debt of gratitude to Assassin's Creed 2, which not only proves the viability of this formula, but also gives us a typical analogy for a video game sequel. Although later titles added more depth, Assassin's Creed 2 made assassination missions more dynamic, with players having greater flexibility when approaching targets, more options to hide or distract, better combat, and better movement. New Catacomb Quests allow players to test their parkour skills, upgradable Homestead Villas give players reason to continue investing in collecting items and coins, and everyone loves Leonardo da Vinci's new weapons and equipment to keep the game fresh.

3. Assassin's Creed: Odyssey

Assassin's Creed: Odyssey takes the fighting style of Origins and adds new role-playing elements, adding some extra elements to the mix, and then setting everything in the vast context of ancient Greece, where the war between Athens and Sparta is burning. It's a huge and vibrant game with some of the most stunning scenes we've seen in the series, both on land and at sea.

2. Assassin's Creed: Origins

Origins marks a turning point in the series. It was this game that transformed Assassin's Creed from an action-adventure game focused on stealth into an open-world RPG of scale and scope that only a handful of games could match. But even without considering the historical significance of Assassin's Creed: Origins, we must note that it is also an excellent Assassin's Creed game.

1. Assassin's Creed: Black Flag

After a long period of assassin roles, Black Flag tried something different, introducing first a pirate protagonist and then an assassin. The ensuing adventure unfolded. A large recreational sandbox playground was introduced in the Caribbean, featuring islands with plenty of treasures and quests, and upgrading the system so that the idea of hunting wild animals and harpoons was no longer a chore. Instead of making sailing its ultimate goal, it builds on Assassin's Creed 3's naval combat framework, turning the nautical adventure into the highlight of Black Flag.
