Yang Juan was elected president of the Sichuan Provincial Women's Federation

On October 29, the Fourth Executive Committee Meeting of the 13th Sichuan Women's Federation was held in Chengdu.

At the meeting, the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's speech at the high-level meeting of the United Nations General Assembly to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Beijing World Conference on Women was conveyed and studied, and the spirit of the speech of Shen Yueyue, president of the All-China Women's Federation, at the National Forum on Domestic Service Work for Women was conveyed and studied.

The congress elected Yang Juan as the 13th president of the Provincial Women's Federation.

The 13th Alternate Executive Committee of the Sichuan Provincial Women's Federation was elected.

Yang Juan's resume

Yang Juan, Han ethnicity, born in October 1963, a native of Quxian County, Sichuan, joined the Communist Party of China in November 1988, joined the work in September 1981, and graduated from the Party School of the Sichuan Provincial Party Committee with a master's degree in public administration.

He has successively served as deputy county magistrate and deputy secretary of the county party committee, director of the Dazhou Municipal Family Planning Commission, secretary of the Kaijiang County CPC Committee, director of the Standing Committee of the County People's Congress, member of the Standing Committee of the Dazhou Municipal CPC Committee and director of the Propaganda Department, member of the Standing Committee of the Mianyang Municipal CPC Committee and secretary of the Municipal Discipline Inspection Commission.

From September 2016 to September 2020, he served as the director of Sichuan Provincial Government Service and Public Resources Trading Service Center and the secretary of the Party Committee.

Since September 2020, he has been the Secretary of the Party Group of the Provincial Women's Federation.

He is a deputy to the 11th National People's Congress, a deputy to the 9th, 10th and 11th Party Congresses of Sichuan Province, a member of the 12th Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and a deputy director of the Population, Resources and Environment Committee.

The national "March 8th Red Flag Bearer" and the "45th National Law Popularization" advanced individual in Sichuan Province.
