When the community cadres arrived at the scene, they found that the bird was about 30 centimeters long, with a black crown, dark brown back feathers, a pointed beak and olive yellow feathers on the wings, which were extremely conspicuous, and indeed did not belong to common birds. Considering that the health of the birds is unknown, and in order to avoid the harm caused to the birds by stray animals in the community, in the end, the staff use space boxes to bring the birds back to the community. After that, the community uploaded the photo to the forest public security, and after identification, it was determined that the bird was a purple-backed reed bird (commonly known as the autumn heron) that was a national third-level wild protected animal.

After examination, the purple-backed reed flounder was in good health. Eventually, with the help of forest police staff, it flew back into nature in the right place.
