At more than 9:00 a.m. on the 8th, the security guard of the Zhonghua South Road Branch of Anshan Bank saw a beautiful bird with sapphire-like feathers outside the door, this bird could not fly, so the security guard rescued it, and after many consultations, he found the phone number of the Qianshan Fly Guard Team and asked the Fly Guard Team for help.

After volunteers Li Shuang and others arrived at the scene, they confirmed that the bird was a purple-backed reed flounder and did not find obvious trauma to the body, but the bird had symptoms of diarrhea and suspected gastrointestinal problems, resulting in physical weakness and inability to fly.

According to Li Shuang, the purple-backed reed flounder often appears in the nansha river waters of our city, and the food species are fish and shrimp, and there are more frogs, tadpoles, loaches and other aquatic insects in the middle and late stages of brooding. The purple-backed reed flounder moved to the northeast to breed from late April to early May, and began to migrate away from the south in late September and early October, this bird should have eaten a bad stomach before the southward migration, and will bring it back for further examination, treatment, feeding, and then rewilding and releasing it after it recovers, so that it can return to nature.
