In October, we bid farewell to the hot summer and ushered in a cool autumn. Under the cool autumn breeze, the young volunteers of the Seven Colored Flowers Volunteer Service Team of Hefei Shengli Road Primary School recently came to the construction community to carry out volunteer service activities.
The young volunteers who participated in this activity were 10 students from our sixth grade (1) class. The content of this volunteer service activity is to clean up the ground garbage around the construction community and beautify the environment around the campus.
Under the leadership of party members Wang Shuang and Huang Liwen, the students picked up brooms, dustpans, and garbage clips and quickly took action to carefully clean the fallen leaves, waste paper, plastic bags, etc. on the ground. With the concerted efforts of the students, the ground hygiene of the community has been renewed.
This activity allowed the students to experience the joy of labor practice and helping others and serving others, improved the students' awareness of protecting the environment and loving their homes, and practiced the spirit of volunteer service. (Tang Xiaoxu)
