The puffer fish, anchovies and knife fish, known as the three freshest of the Yangtze River, have always been the most delicious tastes in the hearts of diners along the yangtze river.
However, with the destruction of the ecological environment of the Yangtze River, the population of fish in the Yangtze River is getting smaller and smaller, and many of them are difficult to find. "Back in the late '80s, I also saw anchovies. Later, I never saw it again. Today, anchovies are functionally extinct. As far as anchovy specimens are concerned, there are only 3 to 5 specimens in the country, and one of the anchovy specimens is treasured in the Fish National Engineering Research and Development Center of jiangsu Zhongyang Group Modern Fishery Science and Technology Industrial Park in Nantong Hai'an Binhai New Area. Toxicity control research was carried out from the aspects of endogenous genetics, gonadal development and exogenous water environment and bait of puffer fish. In January 2001, after testing by the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the Chinese puffer fish was "non-toxic", announcing the birth of the world's first non-toxic puffer fish.
Walking into the breeding greenhouse of the Yangtze River Rare Fish Breeding Center, the reporter saw the pufferfish with the scientific name of the Yangtze River dark striped oriental pufferfish, swimming around in the water, and the intelligent bait feeding equipment was on the side of the breeding pond, and it was fed on time and in quantity. At the same time, intelligent equipment continuously supplies oxygen to the fish, the screen shows the water temperature in real time, and there are special hatching barrels for seedlings.
In the greenhouse pond on the other side, the reporter saw a silver sickle-like knife fish swimming here, which is a scene that can no longer be seen in nature. Knife fish farming in Jiangsu Province is mainly between Zhongyang Group and Yangzhong River Yun. Sino-Ocean Group cooperated with the Jiangsu Freshwater Center on the knifefish research group, and the artificial domestication of knifefish took 6 to 8 years.
"Since the beginning of this century, we have felt that knifefish are endangered, and we have also studied the breeding and domestication of knifefish in the Yangtze River. Knifefish have a very obvious feature, that is, they die when they leave the water. To this end, we have been immersed in research, and once doubted whether artificial knife fish can continue to be done. In the end, we persevered and succeeded. Zhu Yongxiang said.
It is understood that the creation and application of the technology of artificial breeding of knife fish is an important part of China Ocean Group's national science and technology award. Previously, this achievement has won the first prize of the 2015 Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology Award. Nowadays, scientific and technological personnel have also conquered the ecological breeding technology of Yangtze River knifefish imitating river and sea migration. Only by maintaining the biological characteristics of river and sea migration can we effectively promote the fattening of knifefish and the development of gonads under artificial culture.
In addition, Chinese sturgeon, rouge fish, Songjiang perch, etc. have also been artificially farmed. In the interview, Zhu Yongxiang said that most of the rare fish in the Yangtze River have survived and realized artificial breeding. Aquaculture technology has matured and production has been continuously improved. Every year, the fry are also stocked into the Yangtze River on time and in quantity for breeding and stocking.
He frankly said that the 10-year ban on fishing in the Yangtze River is a national macro strategy and is a positive for the aquatic industry. Because after the protection of the Yangtze River, the ecological environment will get better and better. It also provides a lot of room for development in the artificial breeding of rare fish in the Yangtze River through 10 years of protection.
