——Excerpt from "Qiu Yu Jingting Sends from nephew You Lushan Prelude"

In the thirteenth year of the new century (725), Li Bai went out of Shu to travel far away, and once traveled around Dongting Lake, and the south was poor. It is in line with the record of "long and long, southern travel to the clouds, and the magnificence of the Seven Zee" in the text. "Wine steady Anlu, ten years of hesitation", the fourteenth year of the New Century (726) winter Li Bai to Anlu, after which also left Anlu for a short period of time to visit Chang'an and other places, until the twenty-eighth year of the New Century (740) completely left Anlu. "At the beginning of the year, Jiaxing Ji's father who Changsha Xihuan, the time to meet, pre-drink Linxia", in the autumn of the twenty-seventh year of the new century (739), Li Bai to Baling (present-day Yueyang) met Wang Changling, Wang Changling has a poem "Baling Sends Li XII". It is likely that Li Bai met his nephew Li Qi, who was still a child at the time, in 739, when his uncle in Jiaxing was on his way to Changsha.

The year of Li Duan's birth and death in the Ten Talents of the Great Calendar is unknown, but there are two theories about his birth year, 732 and 743. If it is 732, then Li Duan in the autumn of 739 is indeed a child. Li Duan (according to the Biography of Tang Caizi, "Li Duan, a native of ZhaoZhou, and the nephew of Jiayou" in the Ten Talents of the Great Calendar) once lived in Lushan and was a teacher of poetry and monks. Li Jiayou (Li Duanshu) called Li Yangbing a clan uncle in the poem "Sending Clan Shuyang Bing to summon to the capital". Li Yangbing had served as a Tu Ling for Xuanzhou, and Li Bai also called Li Yangbing an uncle, and he should be a contemporary of Li Jiayou. Li Duan's uncle Li Jiayou was the same generation as Li Bai, so Li Duan should be regarded as Li Bai's nephew.

The problem is that Li Yangbing's "Caotang Collection Sequence" states that "Li Bai, the character Taibai, Longxi Chengjiren, the ninth grandson of Liangwu Zhaowang" (梁武昭王暠) is the ninth grandson. According to this record, Li Bai was obviously from the Li clan of Longxi, and Li Jiayou was from the Li clan of Zhao County, so why did both of them call Li Yangbing his uncle?

The poem "Sending Dou Shiyi to the Seventeenth Brother of the Book of China" can be used as evidence that Li Jiayou was born in Zhao County. According to Mr. Cen Zhongmian's research, the "seventeenth brother" in Li Jiayou's poem refers to Li Shu. Li Shu was The great-grandson of Li Jingxuan, the son of Li Xiyan, and the younger brother of Li Sheng, and Li Jingxuan's faction claimed to be the queen of the Southern Ancestral House of the Li clan in Zhao County. Li Jiayou also sent Li Shu's poem "Sending From His Brother to Heshuo" "Hometown that can be reached, so that brother can return alone", saying that Heshuo is his hometown.

According to the New Book of Tang Geography, Zhao Commandery belonged to Hebei Province, traditionally belonging to the Heshuo region, so there is no doubt that Li Jiayou's ancestral home was Zhao Commandery (some people say that Li Jiayou was a native of Yuan Prefecture because in the sixth year of the Gregorian calendar (771) he served as the assassin of Yuan Prefecture (present-day Yichun, Jiangxi) until the winter of the ninth year (774) to resign). Li Jiayou's subordinate brother Li Shu belonged to the Li clan of Zhao County, so since he called Li Yangbing his uncle, Li Yangbing should be from the Li clan of Zhao County. The claim that Li Bai was from the Li clan of Longxi and the same clan as the Li Tang royal family has not yet been confirmed. If Li Yangbing was Li Bai's uncle, Li Bai should be from the Li clan of Zhao County. Whether Li Yangbing is Li Bai's uncle or not is still doubtful, so the statement that Li Duan, who was born in the Li clan of Zhao County, is Li Bai's nephew is even more doubtful.
