  The new system of mechanical basic courses with multi-course integration has been reconstructed. The team put forward the concept of continuous and progressive cultivation of mechanical basic ability, overcome the narrowing of single course knowledge, take design as the main line, help students establish a more perfect knowledge cross-system of mechanical-mechanical-materials, and strengthen students' engineering application and knowledge correlation ability. It has built a rich comprehensive test and engineering case library and self-made teaching experimental instruments, using inquiry, case, seminar and other means to run through each course through the engineering case carrier, highlighting the integration of each course knowledge. At the same time, it is necessary to strengthen the cultivation of students' humanistic feelings, scientific spirit, dialectical thinking, etc., and urge students to consider national and industry standards when designing and analyzing, taking into account economic, environmental protection, safety and other factors, and consolidate the thinking of the curriculum.

  Reform the curriculum assessment method and the performance evaluation method, with the purpose of evaluating the learning effectiveness of students, with the achievement of professional graduation requirements as the core, explore the implementation of closed-book, open-book, network random test, experimental examination, project learning and defense and other diversified assessment methods, to achieve the whole process of assessment and evaluation.

  Strengthen the cultivation of students' engineering application and innovation ability. Results-oriented, relying on engineering practice projects, set up scientific research projects, build extracurricular scientific and technological activities and discipline competitions and other platforms, cultivate students' innovative spirit and practical ability. Every year, he guides more than 20 extracurricular research projects for college students, more than 100 students participate in practical training, and many of them are rated as excellent URT projects at the university level; team teachers guide students to participate in many mechanical innovation design competitions, and the number of works ranks among the best in all participating universities, and has won the Excellent Organization Award of the Capital University Mechanical Innovation Design Competition for four consecutive years. Organize students to participate in many consecutive Sessions of the Capital University Student Challenge Cup, the National College Students Mechanical Innovation Design Competition Huiyu Division Competition, the Internet + Competition (Beijing Division), the National Metallographic Skills Competition, etc., and various discipline competitions have won more than 100 provincial and ministerial awards and above in recent years, and more than 1,200 students have benefited. The student entrepreneurship team Dream maker technology company was selected as one of the top 100 "National Excellent Entrepreneurship Projects in Colleges and Universities", and Professor Cai Xiaojun was selected as one of the 10,000 outstanding innovation and entrepreneurship mentors of the Ministry of Education in 2017.

  In recent years, the team has guided students to apply for more than 60 patents and published more than 40 academic papers. Every year, more than 600 students participate in the mechanical engineer qualification certification program, the mechanical CAD design software learning program and the vocational skills training program, which closely combines talent training with the development of advanced technology and improves the social adaptability of students.

  Strengthen the application of blended teaching methods and modern information teaching technology. Actively carry out diversified reforms in the form of curriculum teaching organization, and hybrid teaching methods such as MOOCs, rain classrooms, and network tests are 100% applied in the teaching of core courses; virtual prototypes and simulation technologies are introduced in the teaching process to cultivate students' digital design capabilities. It has built and improved the three-dimensional construction of multimedia courseware and network resources, compiled and completed 5 blue ink cloud textbooks, and completed more than 600 hours of online micro-course videos, courseware and test questions. Completed the construction of more than ten courses such as cloud class resources, test questions, tests, brainstorming, etc. Among them, 1 course won the high-quality courses of Beijing universities, and 2 cloud textbooks won the high-quality undergraduate textbooks of Beijing universities.

  He has presided over 5 industry-university cooperation collaborative education projects of the Ministry of Education and 1 education and teaching reform project of Beijing colleges and universities. He has published 26 papers on teaching reform, and won 1 special prize, 2 first prizes and 2 second prizes for school-level teaching achievements.
