On August 24, Xiao Jie, a friend who is also a hiker on the Qinghai-Tibet Line with the United States, said that Meimei died unexpectedly on national highway 109 on the 21st, which was a unilateral accident. According to Ms. Wang's description, Meimei had an accident because of the hand-pulled solar motorhome. The circular said that in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations and the spirit of the documents, all social groups or individuals are now prohibited from going from Golmud to the Kekexili Nature Reserve in Yushu Prefecture to carry out tourism, exploration, illegal crossing and other activities.
