Zeng Xiaomin came to Shanghai with the art of Cantonese opera

Cantonese opera, the treasure of Lingnan culture, is not only a beam of light illuminated by history into the present, but also a road for the culture of the Greater Bay Area to pave the world culture.

As an important performance of the national stage art exhibition season of "Performing Arts World, Art Gathering in Shanghai", from October 15 to 19, the national tour of Zeng Xiaomin's Cantonese opera art works (Shanghai Station) will be held at the Wanping Theater in Shanghai.

Zeng Xiaomin, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Guangdong Cantonese Theatre, national first-class actor, winner of the Wenhua Performance Award, The Chinese Drama Plum Blossom Award, and the Shanghai Magnolia Drama Performing Arts Award" "Protagonist Award", led a group of famous and rookies of Guangdong Cantonese Theatre to participate in the performance of representative plays such as "I Am Zeng Xiaomin - Drama Say" Symphony Concert, "White Snake Legend , Love", "Red Turban" and other representative plays, presenting a Cantonese opera cultural and artistic feast with Lingnan characteristics for audience theater fans.

During the three-day concert, Zeng Xiaomin will present a number of wonderful programs for the audience to experience the harmony of Cantonese opera and contemporary life with a variety of styles of stage art images, pleasant and beautiful singing voices full of traditional Cantonese opera characteristics.

Among them, the performance on the 15th was the most exciting, divided into the opening "I am Zeng Xiaomin", the second part "Winter to Spring", the third part "Drama Talk" and the fourth part "Cantonese Rhyme South Wind".

In the third part, Zeng Xiaomin will play with a unique Cantonese opera singing voice, excellent singing ideas, cross-industry, able to write and martial arts, combined with film elements, to present to the audience "White Snake Legend of Love", "Sister Jiang's "Embroidered Red Flag"", "The Legend of Liu Yi", "Lady Chenguo" and other classic repertoire singing segments. When Cantonese opera is sung, the stage will also innovatively introduce situational performances to restore classic Cantonese opera scenes such as "water flooding the golden mountain" and "spending a good full moon".

In the performance on the evening of October 17, Zeng Xiaomin will perform the newly edited Cantonese opera "White Snake Legend and Love" with the national first-class actor Wen Ruqing, the national first-class actor Wang Yanfei, and the national second-level actor Zhu Hongxing, which is one of Zeng Xiaomin's representative works and won the 16th Wenhua Performance Award and the 28th Chinese Drama Plum Blossom Award.

In the performance on the evening of October 19, the performance will be the newly compiled modern Cantonese opera "Red Turban", which is another masterpiece of Zeng Xiaomin, which won the "Repertoire Award", the highest award of the 14th Guangdong Provincial Arts Festival, and was selected for the "Outstanding Stage Art Works Exhibition and Performance celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China" jointly organized by the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and the Federation of Chinese Literary and Art Circles, and was one of the 50 plays performed in Beijing.
