It is reported that Chiang Ching-kuo once visited South Korea, and when he learned that a Chinese person actually had this martial art attainment, he invited Tan Daoliang to come and perform taekwondo. After Chiang Ching-kuo returned to Taiwan, he invited him to development.
Since then, Tan Daoliang has moved from South Korea to Baodao and founded the "Republic of China Taekwondo Committee" in 1970, when he was only 23 years old.
