author:Oriental rain vegetable garden

Norman. Bethune, an international communist fighter, is a well-known thoracic surgeon of the Communist Party of Canada, born in 1890 in Ontario, Canada. He went to the front with the Canadian Volunteers and served the anti-fascist Spanish people. During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, he led a medical team to the Liberated Areas of China, served the anti-Japanese soldiers and civilians of China with superb medical technology, and made outstanding contributions to the liberation of the Chinese people. Later, due to the infection and poisoning of the rescued wounded, he died on November 12, 1939 in Guanxian County, Hebei Province.

March 3 this year marks the centenary of Dr. Bethune's birth in order to introduce the world to this pair of people. Outstanding figures who have made important contributions to the people of Canada and China and Canada jointly issued this set of commemorative stamps.
