The Lara actor in the "Tomb Raider" movie talks about the philosophical shooting experience of the character

I believe that many people have seen alicia Vikander how Alicia Vikander interpreted the protagonist Lara Croft Lara Kraft in the latest Tomb Raider movie, and they must have been more convinced that she was born to play the best person to play this role. Especially in such a well-known series, it is even more challenging to grasp the essence of young Lara.

In a recent interview with Game Informer, Alicia Vikander shared her feelings about taking responsibility for this important character and the connections between the various versions of Lara, including Lara in the original Tomb Raider game, Laura in the rebooted game series, and Angelina Jolie Angelina. Julie plays Laura and her own role.

Alicia Vikander says:

"I think Laura, a character who has been around for almost 22 years, has always been glamorous, and now Laura is a very representative character, and I am very happy to see a female character shine in the game and film and television fields. But even so, I think there is still room for a character like Laura to grow, and although she is from 1996, she presents an active female figure who is strong and intelligent and careful, but has a fragile side. It is as if this character was created and changed with the ideas and trends of society. At least for me, Laura is more feminine now."

In addition, Alicia Vikander mentions her own personal philosophy of releasing Laura and how to portray the character's views, saying:

"When I played Laura, probably the most important consideration was how to make the fans who had followed and loved the character for many years see what they thought it would be, and what inspired me a lot. And then I start thinking, I know myself, and you always want to see something new, like, 'Why make another movie like that?' The audience wanted to cut in from a new perspective, and I was also interested in telling such ideas from the early days of Laura, because the girl in the story lived in a world that was closer to reality than we thought.

I also went to London with my roommate when I was 20 years old. That's why I loved Laura in the movie so much, because she gave her a real, lifelike feeling until she became a seasoned survivor. I love the process of witnessing Lara's gradual growth and rebirth from an ordinary girl, if there is such a beloved character in your heart, if you have the opportunity to watch this character transform in the future, I believe you will feel a lot."

The latest "Tomb Raider" adaptation is expected to be released worldwide on March 16 this year.
